Caveman Riffs w/ GGD SLAMMERS! (+ DAW Rundown)
First of all, shoutout to @hados1853 for the insane video edit of the playthrough! Hit him up if you need exciting editing like this.
GetGoodDrums Slammers are a collection of kick and snare one shots to enhance your drum sound. Here's a description from Nolly himself:
"Hey, thanks so much for checking out Slammers! I've poured a lot of time and energy into creating a diverse and hard-hitting set of one shots that will hopefully give you instantly exciting and fun results in your productions! There's quite a range in there from low to high tunings, clean captures to quite crunchy ones, ringy samples and dry ones, so please give them all a listen and have fun combining them to find the right vibe. Note that while all these samples are phase coherent with each other, you should always check whether you need to flip the polarity on them (as a group) to work with the drums you're layering them over - one way should sound noticeably bigger and punchier than the other, which is when you know the polarity is right. Keen to hear how you find them!"
There are 45 samples in total, I didn't showcase them all in the video as I feel that would be giving the product away in a sense. Let me know if the DAW rundown was helpful and if you have any questions :)

Well hey Geordi! I really dug this tutorial style vid. No wonder it takes you so long between video drops, this is very technical indeed, and must take weeks to perfect. Ahh, the old HM2 Buzzsaw tone. Just crank the knobs to the right until they stop lol. Sure you're not part Swedish? Excellent use of compression and eq. The layering and extra sfx were a neat addition, especially the higher pitched "not heard but felt" one. Almost no one thinks to do cool stuff like that. Not bad for your first one! Not bad at all. Still trying to figure out why I thought you were Canadian... 🤔🤘🤘
