Remember coders said same, 'it wont replace us' but very soon it replaced most of them. And same can happen here within 10 years, just look at the INSANE progress of the last two years, plus keep NVIDIA's coming upgrades in computer performance in mind, 30x faster has an impact too. Another problem is the quantity, this coming AI content tsunami will drown everything to some degree, including Hollywood.
That’s my biggest fear too is that because of the tsunami and the shear amount of AI slop that will get pushed, people’s tolerance for bad content will continue to plummet. I’m optimistic that people will always want that “real person” connection but you never know.
I'm loving this video! It's so interesting to see how AI is being used in filmmaking. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this technology
Glad you enjoyed the video! I'm the same way, as long as we embrace AI like the tool it is. It really can be useful for us smaller creators especially.
I'm sure AI videos will be integrated more in more over time, but I don't see it replacing filmmakers entirely. For a cinematic drone shot in a far away location, sure, why waste the money to travel there? But for actual people on camera, I feel like the consumers will want that genuine human connection.
100% what I think will happen! I think it'll be a great tool for us video creators to use but will never truly replace us because of that human factor. I'd never settle for an Ai Parker lol.

I purchased my M50x through Amazon. I love this headset but ,unfortunately, I broke my headset. ...this was a slight movement, not a jerking motion...I was making an adjustment and the arm broke!. I decided to purchase another headset and the same exact thing happened again!. I wasn't being rough or grabbing at the headset....I was just make a normal adjustment...No more! I decided to walk away from a product that i loved!. make sure you get insurance!.

what monitor are you using? im going crazy on monitors for macs, my two 4k monitors are fuzy and blurry, really disappointing, the mini led screen of the mbp are amazing but any external monitor that wont break the banks limits it. Its like apples artificially making others monitor blurry, making it complicated in choosing monitors
I have felt the same. The monitor I've been using for a handful of years now is the ASUS PA278QV Pro Art Display. They do a great job for all kinds of creative work and they actually look good haha. Not quite as good as the displays apple has on their MacBook Pros but way better than other brands I've tried. I've got it linked in my video description if you want to check it out!
You still happy with your desk? i also want a new desk and was looking for a the Secret Lab Magnus pro but for the normal size,so not the XL,i only use a 1 monitor + i have a macbook pro on my left side,and my pc is going under my desk with the secret lab pc holder :) so that also save deskspace...but i do have a Ergotron LX monitor arm does that my the Secret Lab magnus pro ?
Yes I LOVE the desk and still think its very much worth picking one up. You'll have plenty of space in the back to mount whatever arm you have. Your whole setup should work great with the desk!

I still say the Sony MDR7506 are the best budget headphones ever made, call them tinny all you want the drivers are capable of reproducing 10hz, for $100 and with an EQ the MDR7506 cannot be beat. And I've been utterly abusing my set for an entire decade with zero sign of structural faults (constantly dropped during workouts, and yes the coiled cable can stretch across the room for workouts, just clamp the cable to your desk so it doesn't yank on your audio jack).
I 100% expected to see a couple hundred thousand subs when I stumbled across you. The videos are awesome man! My Magnus Pro is getting delivered today and can't wait to get it set up!

Great video Austin! Quick question: when I use creative LUT’s, that need Rec709 conversion before applying the LUT, it just looks flat on my Shinobi II. Do the LUT’s you use in the video have a Rec709 conversion built in? Or is there a setting I overlooked?
Thank you! And you are correct, the LUTs I made serve as a Rec709 conversion with an added look on top of it. Simplifying the entire color grading process. Highly recommend it! With the multiple slots for user luts I would consider doing all 3 on your end. 1 of just the creative lut, 1 of your Rec709 conversion and 1 of the 2 merged together giving you maximum flexibility for fine tuning your white balance and exposure.

Yes! Not sure what editor you’re using but in premiere you can export your own looks and luts from the Lumetri Color tab. Essentially throw on your Rec709 conversation onto your footage and then add whatever creative adjustments you want from there and export that as your own look. Super simple!
