An easy way to mulch up leaves without a mulching kit or gator blades it to use a backwards and forwards motion over the leaves repeatedly. Mowing over the leaves in reverse allows the leaves to be mulched in a counter clockwise motion leaving behind debris. In the forward motion all of the debris left behind will get mowed over and discharged in the direction that this process will repeat itself until all the leaves are gone.
