    I’m the 4th generation and we live in Southwest Detroit all our family were born in house till 1969 which was the year I was born the house in delray on South Harbaugh St now the part of the street was between Thaddeus st and Dearborn st we were a few feet from zug island and my mom work for FisherBody General Motors I remember me having bone marrow Leukemia at 2 it went in remission in my early twenties I was diagnosed with at sight cancer basically cancer they don’t have a category so that went in remission 45 years old was diagnosed with heart failure and they can’t categorize of what disease of heart I have my mom died at 59 my 2 brothers 52 and 57 died of the same heart problems and of course they said it was genetic my daughter and son was born with asthma I believe it’s the chemicals of Zug Island and Marathon oil Company and Mobile oil Company sad truth they are refineries for Canada oil and if you follow the money you will see the mayor of Detroit and the cities mayors around the Detroit area are bought by these oil companies and presidents are bought by them to these companies are spitting more emissions then ever 🤦🏼‍♀️😢😡

    I wish the video wasn't so long and dry as growing up in the near suburbs I noticed at a very young age how poor public transportation in the area was for everyone, let alone the racial implications. It's not a criticism, it takes time and money to produce documentaries but it would make a good one done differently.

      I find the story a little difficult to understand since usually public transportation is worse in rich suburbs but there are usually bus routes through poor areas.
