Ford didn't put the lift kit on it
Why can't you cut and replace them?
If it was easy...everyone would do it. Be glad you have a job. They're not always easy
@@roberttuttle9886 that’s the truth
I really miss the shit jobs now I'm stuck in the house with cancer and can't work
Remember it’s all on the factory line, they don’t give 2 shits how it’s assembled which this way is probably how they were told to do it
You know those engineers don't give a shit
They not going to listen
Yuu's sounds 's like yew am's unsmartly
@@stevewenners Ok.
🤔 everyone keeps saying this, yet I’ve always been able to slip them through the coil with a little pry bar… 🤷♂️
@@user-ny8mh4tn8i not with the lift on this vehicle.
@@adamsautorepairLLC lifts are easily removed 🤷♂️ glorified puck, also a good way to make a weak front end extra crappy. Stupid design. No doubt, but man have I seen a lot of hate on this particular job; and I mean, there are waaaay worse.
DEALERSHIPS DONT MAKE CARS
How did you design your car? Let’s hear it
@@turtleproblemsOfficial a lot more user friendly lol.
They do that so they cant back themselves out
@@RCgenral I totally understand why they install the bolts this way. I Was just frustrated that a simple job took a lot of extra time.
@@adamsautorepairLLC welcome to being a mechanic lol
Fords are dog shit all around.
All u gotta do is undo end link and top 3 nuts on strut and pull strut dow and the top out half way just enough to get behind it. I do these in 30 mins per side brother. It’s all I do all day every day is front end work. You may need to move a few more things but for most part u don’t even gotta remove brakes.
Exactly. Same setup on a Chevy Tahoe 2012 that I did. Just drop the strut a little to work the bolts out.
I do them all the time, and normally without the lift that it had I can use a bar and move the strut to access the bolt but on this 2017 the lift got in the way and the strut had to be totally removed.
Hello sir, may I ask where you are located, watching your videos,I would like to speak with you if it's not too much trouble, thank you
Wow
I think you are missing an "e" in power probE.
That I am. Thank you I’ll edit.
What tester are you using
"power prob-" according to the video title.
Power Probe
Ended up being bad coil on #8 with a broken plug and #1 coil was not plugged in good. Problem fixed.
trying to change mine same car. please walk me thru the proccess
Hey I have a written procedure I can post that walks you through the process.
How do u remove them bro?
You have to knock them out via a big hammer or press them out using a ball joint press.
Thank you
Your welcome
You said 15 and 20 ohms. I've watched 20 videos some 5to6, 30to40, 5000to7000 where are you guys getting your radio signals????
I checked all coils and they were all close in readings except one. The one was the bad coil. So I went with the others as a good reading.
What do I need to buy to fix it part number?
So what is actually causing this & how to fix??? Now what if you have a Coil RAIL on a 4.0 inline 6 engine with the EXACT same problem? This damn code will be the death of me! 😞
A bad coil was the culprit. Pull the spark plug for cylinder #1 the code is for cylinder #1. If the plug is covered in fuel it is not firing properly.
@@adamsautorepairLLC Brand new OEM spark plugs gapped to spec. 👌🏼 On my 3rd Brand new Rail Coil. Open entire wire harness. Haven't seen a short to ground or an open. Been searching for days. All my wires look new & pristine. To the last of my knowledge the resistance in the rail is in range & the wires on harness connecting rail and to PCM. All fuses & Relays check out. I even have a test light, an Amp Hound, OEM Circuit tester & a Multimeter. 🤷🏼♂️ There's always something wrong after another after another.. 😞
@@maniacalmonster2293 you need a scope and and an amp clamp to connect to cylinder 2 to get a known good reading you are going to look for a spike in power on this and if you find a spike in power on 1 then you need a computer the noid lights are good to see if signal is good but does not check for high voltage spikes that keeps killing the coil due to the computer 1 driver is not sending correctly but it is sending
