Stanley plays the theme firstly using the panpipes setting on his keyboard, then pizzicato violin and finally with full piano including left hand chords. This was recorded during Stanley's lesson and then produced with drums, guitar and bass by his music teacher Simon.

Yeah, without Basia Matt Bianco is like Ringo Starr without John Lennon. Still very smooth but the new lady vocals are not nearly as impressive as Basia's.

Does anyone else find Hazel Sim unbelievably attractive?? I mean, that voice is incredible... I'm actually really surprised that other musicians looking for a lead singer weren't knocking at her door. She has such a beautiful, sexy voice... Plus, she's extremely easy on the eyes. I wish I could have seen this band play. I don't ever recall them coming to Canada, but it's entirely possible I simply missed it too. I'd sure love to be able to go back in time because if I could, I'd go to this show and I'd have a table in the front row so I could watch that beautiful woman sing.

My favorite version of Half a minute is with Hazel Sim on voice, the Joey Negro Sunburst mix from the album Sunshine day - The Official Greatest Hits. Great job with bass of Nick Cohen here.

DAN FREEMAN am not here to hate on him, but could give you many constructive reasons re “his” catalogue, pitchy voice, lack of stage presence, questionable (written??) songs from decades ago and his better talented partner/singer. I think 🤔 she left him decades ago to.
@@dibaz1 Strangely enough, when he gets together with Basia & Danny White, they produce some of the most interesting sound, and music. So maybe his contribution is more musical than what he actually sounds like. And you can bet that the first 2 MB albums with that trio and the last they did together, back in 2004 I believe, are really great.

@@JoseAlvarez-ug9uk Yes, those three albums they did together are great. Mark Reilly put Matt Bianco together as a duo first with some other guy who died recently. The Danny White, Basia trio came afterwards and was more successful. Basia and Danny White ended up together as a couple and they decided to leave Matt Bianco so Basia could pursue a solo career. She had some success and a great first album, but it didn't go much further. Afterwards, they reunited with Mark Reilly to produce their 3rd album together. And then they left again. I wished they would have stayed together. Basia did say that she got introduced to the Latin beats/percussion through Mark Reilly. That has always been his thing. She incorporated part of that sound into her first album. Not sure who wrote what song on their three albums. They are all very talented musicians and remain friends as far as I know. Would love to see them together again.
