☹
Disgraceful omissions.
Thanks Allan, FAB music accompanying this interesting and fascinating photo story telling of your Paddington, which was indeed for many of us growing up. Well put together and so worth watching. 👍🇬🇧👍
Love this film and never tire of watching it, mainly because my older siblings are in it! Among the childen playing near the canal when 'Queenie' finds the gun.
I especially remember Mighty Mouse... But I'm being haunted by a black white about an alien that visited earth in an orb like spaceship that could be made invisible.. Does anyone else know of this ?
I went to ABC Minors with my older sister in the early 1970's to The Regal in Purley.
I remember you at Friern, I was a Charge Nurse there and remember you well. You were very reasonable in your union duties. I made a video the day before the hospital finally closed. th-cam.com/video/8mD3SSDQ9Aw/w-d-xo.html
Same birthday as JIMMY POWELL .who is on you tube recording of this song .jimmys version was played at his funeral rip jimmy 13 May 2016………….that jimmy in this profile pic. Ray Drury.Sheffield.
I remember a guy called John, he had elephantitis. All the west indian women loved him because he loved to haggle!
Johnny Simmonds I think
I stand 100% with the feelings and sentiment portrayed here. YES, care in the community was/is/will be forever the antithesis of what the phrase suggests and YES, so very very sad to see places built to care for the needy and downtrodden being sold out from under them to cater to the ephemeral desires of 'the haves'.
Needs to be on F.M..Sort it john peters
No word about Colosseum ????
Thank you for putting up the video. I grew up on what is now Amberly Estate from July 1977 to 1992. I have always been interested in the Amberly when it had what looked like sheds by the canal. Thanks again.
Great singer, love his version of Yesterdays Papers ,surprised it wasn't a hit
This song ❤
Brings back memories of childhood. Better version than Mick Jaggers
Out Of Time was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards
The key has been lowered, but I love the warmth of the more recent performance!! 🙂
Love it about time ❤️👍
The need for psychiatric hospitals is still there but we now spend billions on immigration .
Literally just seem him on stage tonight at the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe - absolutely phenomenal at almost 83! ❤
No, actually.
I was born on the Harrow road in 1959. I was born at Home. And Lived here ever since.
Love Chris and love 'Out Of Time'. And what a sensible man for never marrying!
I will second that 😃😃😃
His voice today is even better, richer, smoother, slower but so much more powerful - love it.
Tom Jones is my role model when I grew up. Even I find him very stuck up but which celebrity doesn't. He still my best artist.
Geniañ Tom !!!!
I was born in '63 and I can remember my mum playing Tom Jones records. She told me stories about how women would throw their room keys and underwear on the stage when he played. Of course SHE would never do such a thing ;)
Grew up listening to his song in the 70s, till today love his voice. 💖💖🇲🇾🇲🇾
Better than ever.
WOW, IT'S AMAZING THAT TOM JONES STILL HAS THAT SPARK. ❤❤❤

I was born in 65, the year he recorded this song, and I grew up absolutely LOVING Tom Jones’ voice and music. To me, his vibrato is the gold standard. And the rest of him doesn’t suck either! 😜😜

Amo a Sir Tom Jones!!! Es increíble como a pasado el tiempo y el sigue con esa hermosa y potente voz es el mejor 💖
Surpreendente!!
I’ve loved Tom Jones singing since I first heard him, in the early sixties. He’s one artist that is the greatest! I’ve loved his singing since I was a pre teen, in the 60’s!
Surely this beautiful Victorian structure must have fallen into the Grade I or II listed category ? .... Why did they demolish it, although at least some parts have been saved from the wrecking ball !! .... What a shame, but I guess the past history might be a factor to its demise ? ... A great post, and an insight into the former Colney Heath Lunatic Asylum - later renamed the Friern Barnet Hospital.
It's not been demolished it's been converted to flats called Princess Park Manor
Certainly brought a song to my heart. Good selfie at the end, too!
Reminding me of how my formative years in popular music were ingrained forever.Wonderful memories listening to an almost inaudible transistor radio late at night .
