Yea that’s what I think it is as well. But yea 5ft waves are crazy. Not pleasant in the boat. 1-2 ft are ok haha

My friend keeps tellimg you use an ice fishing rod, is it? Do you have a link so I can buy one for him? He insists the rod uses 1-6lb test line, I told him I never heard anyone uses 1lb line.

Why is your drag so loose when you're reeling in?
@@waynohouse74 not that loose, fish fights pretty hard. But If I make it tighter I lose the fish. They either pop off the hook or rip my 6lb line.

This is ridiculous. It’s a trash fish, now people are guiding for them. When I was a kid we threw these back in that lake targeting walleye. It was something to catch when sthd was slow in the westside rivers in late winter. Kept them once to make smoked whitefish dip, once. There’s better stuff to smoke. I realize I’m the old guy complaining and I lost and I’m bitter and the addicted guys are the new normal. But damn. This is why I can’t have fun fishing anymore. Giant crowds, even for whitefish. I hate everyone

Honestly idk. People say it’s tasty. I personally like fishing for them. Cuz they’re fun fighters I don’t eat it much. And maybe your buddy went ice fishing? That’s when I see most Eastern Europeans. But summer time. It’s half and half with Asian communities.
