Good luck with the channel bro. I'm a retail enthusiast myself. My wife actually scored a full retail box of NBA Hoops 23-24 from Target for 35$ the other day. My guess is that they were supposed to be put out as singles. When she had em ring it up it wasn't in the system so the clerk grabbed a manager and I guess the manager just shrugged and had her ring it in as $35 and sold her the whole box. Scored an auto and a /15 from it. 🙃

On your question about the Acuna autograph getting an 8 but coming from clearly authentic, athletes can be rough when signing the cards. They can toss them around, rub them on the table while signing like sliding the card to them, that can create surface scratches. There is a video of Vlad Jr signing cards and him being incredibly ruff with them. It sucks but it happens. I’d suggest a jewelers lens with a light for corners edges and surface, and have multiple light sources when checking the surface. The also have centering tools available on eBay for cheap. Hope this helps.

That card with the wishbone crease. I put a crease just like that in a card once, putting it in the semi rigid to send off for grading. After I did my pregrades, cleaning, all that. Only noticed last minute because I had another card I was thinking of sending instead. Otherwise it would have been in the box and sent off for grading. I'm super careful with semi rigids now.

This is a pretty nice box. Awesome Jeter and Shaqs! I remember opening some Classic when I was a kid. I pulled a 92 Classic Draft picks Jeter that I recently found. 10 year old me actually sleeved it and took care of it. If I remember correctly Rheaume played in an exhibition game with the Lightning.
