i used silk paints in this video and one acrylic paint which is white and i diluted that in water.

If you are using iron fixed silk paints, then there is no need to steam the silk . Steaming is compulsory in case of silk dyes

You can paint any type of flowers in purples, pink,red,orange,maroon etc

Fevicryl acrylic paints are not ideal for silk painting. Acrylic paints can make the fabric stiff, and Fevicryll is not designed for silk or fabric use. For silk painting, it's better to use silk-specific dyes or paints to ensure softness, vibrancy, and durability.

Thanks 💓 for your compliment. I only use hard-haired brushes for batik because they don’t get damaged by hot wax. For painting, I use brushes with nylon bristles.

@ritumalhan1093 I used acrylic and fabric paints. Organza is a crispy fabric that is already stiff because it weaves with wiry threads. Due to its very see-through form, we have to paint with opaque colours, which are in paste form like fabric paints and acrylics.

@ritumalhan1093 Yes, you can use Alum on cotton but with silk paints if you want this effect.

You can use acrylics on silk, but acrylics are not for silk, actually. You silk will stiff when acrylics dry. You can not get any effect with acrylics on silk, so it's better to use silk paints on silk.

@anilautomobiles3613 In my knowledge, dye na flow in powder form is for dip dye. You can use these in batik or tie and dye techniques. For silk painting, you need silk paints or silk dyes, which are in liquid form.

Thank you so much for your appreciation. When I say "paint the background," I mean to paint the rest of the area that is empty. There is no need to turn the fabric, and I did not turn the fabric in my silk painting videos. Make sure you understand this when working on the background.

Hi I used marabu gutta for outline. Golden,silver, and black guttas beautify the silk painting, so there is no need to remove it. Just transparent gutta need to be removed.

No, acrylic colors cannot be used as dyes, but they can be mixed with fabric medium to paint on fabric.

If you use transparent gutta for outlining and create effects on silk with materials like salt, sugar, or vinegar, you will need to wash the silk after painting. However, before washing, make sure to fix the paints according to the manufacturer’s instructions. There is no need to wash the silk if you only use golden, silver, copper, or black gutta.
