Sino raw ang mananagot sa next alumni homecoming? It could be a tall order for the next set of officers because CCC will notch its 80th foundation year. Mabuti na lang malayo tayo kaya hindi kasama dun.
It's nice to see old places and faces during alumni homecoming and thanks to the advent of youtube, even those who are far from our hometown we're able to immediately view the happy event. Thanks for posting!
really good presentation i wish that they win instead not the other onces!
OK ang presentation ng lahat na grupo. Bakit ayaw mag pa comment sa Administrator? Nagkakalat ba? Mga young ang participants dito sa Support Services. Hindi ba kasama rito sina Myrna, Tess, Nitz and Mrs. Biyo?
c ryan ba un??? panalo! hahaa!
Yup si Ryan un🐹🐹
Ganda ng sitsiritsit! Hi Prof Galang, Harold be thy name...
The average townsfolk still demonstrate close family ties even during this modern age. Religiousity plays an important role for its people to be peace-loving and fun loving. The town itself is peaceful with very minimal occurrence of violence and crimes are reported. Even in the exercise of electing its leaders, while somewhere else has lots of underground activities from the political forces flexing their muscles, it is a peaceful affair here in Calauag.
Spending some time in Calauag is a worthwhile proposition. The peaceful, friendly and pleasant atmosphere of the town is the perfect solution to unwind after being used to the fast pace lifestyles in the big cities. Away from the urban congestion and polluted surroundings in the metropolis, weekends could be spent in the town which now boasts of fine eateries and well appointed hotels notably at the outskirts, along Maharlika Highway.
Being an agricultural town, it boasts of large area devoted to fishponds. This keeps the economy of the municipality alive, with the produce being exported to Metro Manila and nearby towns. Three quarters of the land area in Calauag is used for agricultural purposes, growing rice and corn as the staple produce but also being supplemented by fruits and vegetables. As most towns in Quezon, coconut trees abounds whose products derived from it a source of income for the residents.
It has vast potential as tourists destination with some enterprising groups eyeing to develop the beaches along Pacific Ocean. In fact, some tourists have already taken notice of Pulong Pasig, a small body separated from the mainland and covered mostly with coconut trees and mangroves lining the island shores. There are also live corals in this area which is one of the draws for divers to come to the island.
The town has a big land area with 81 barangays and it is located around 231kms. in the southeast direction of Manila. TIt is fortunate to have Lamon Bay nearby which is an active fishing ground for the locals and is home to several large living corals. The bay is on the southern portion of Quezon and the slope of the bay is gradual, revealing quite a long distance of the beach during the low tide.
Calauag has a nice set of contrasts. A feature writer aptly described it as picturesque and serenely situated between the sea and the mountain. Its a nice, laid-back place to its about 70 thousand population having a calm pace of life compared to the big cities. Although many are already abroad and elsewhere, they always come back to savor the old tradition and customs that never waned being observed in this rural yet vibrant municipality.
This is a nice youtube on Calauag and the sights! Many thanks! And yes, the background music rendered by Aiza Seguerra, herself a pride of Calauag who made in niche in the entertainment world, aptly describe the feeling and longing to be back home.
