Back in the day. Back in the 1960s when Stan Furman joined the Brandon Cloverleafs he boarded at Ethyl Wright’s home (mother of Mort Wright - Cloverleaf player/coach/manager in the day). I used to spend a week or two) at my great Aunt Ethyl’s home in Brandon each summer. We would attend home and away games watching Stan Furman and the other players. Lots of great memories of players in the Manitoba Senior Baseball League. Don Fraser

I remember this guy. He used to put me through struggle sessions with the other faculty of Earl Oxford junior high.

Pitched/first base/ right field for Elm Wood in the early '90s. Al called me "Freddy" rest of the team called me "Wild Thing" I truly was the team's Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn. Teammates with Al's son Jamie!
