The guys and gals in the MUGEN community are insane in the very best way, I was so happy to find all these fan made/remade versions of MK. There is also all kinds of silliness out there, Micky Mouse as a playable character, horror movie characters, you name it, someone put it into an MK MUGEN. These more faithful remakes/reimaginings are my favorite though, really hits the nostalgia button hard.

The added Scropion dialog is likely a reference to a specific fan animation from years ago. The Mortal Kombat VS Street Fighter videos from Proxide on Newgrounds used (Or made more than likely) that exact piece of dialog in his 3rd video. Which was Chameleon vs Shin Akuma. The 2nd and 3rd ones are incredible even to this day.

Does this game have the easy fatality option?

The MK1 backgrounds don’t make sense. The game is set on Outworld.

MK Komplete Plus has all 3 versions of Shang Tsung in MK Trilogy. Man, it just makes me wonder which one is the best?

Imho this is now the best classic MK. It plays buttery smooth, even better than UMK3 and MK Trilogy. I really hope they continue working on it.
