Switzerland - Zermatt & Grindelwald in 7 days - Travel Journal
Our 7-Day Swiss Adventure
Day 1-4: Zermatt
We kicked off our Swiss adventure with four incredible days in Zermatt. The picturesque village, nestled at the foot of the Matterhorn, offered breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. We spent our days biking through scenic trails, shopping in charming boutiques, and taking countless gondola rides to soak in the stunning alpine landscapes. The highlight was undoubtedly the hikes, where each trail revealed more of Zermatt’s natural beauty.
Day 5-7: Grindelwald
Our journey continued to the beautiful village of Grindelwald. For three days, we immersed ourselves in outdoor activities, enjoying the thrill of biking and the tranquility of hiking through lush meadows and rugged mountains. The gondola rides provided a unique perspective of the majestic surroundings, and we loved every moment of exploring this enchanting place.
From start to finish, our trip was filled with adventure, stunning views, and unforgettable experiences. We are excited to share our journey with you and hope it inspires you to embark on your own Swiss adventure.

This year for Spring Break we rented the Sleeping Child Hot Springs vacation rental in Hamilton, Montana with 19 of our friends. There was so much to do from hiking, hanging out in the heated pool, tons of games to play, and just a lot of fun!!

Thank you so much for this video and that treehouse is nice. Some designers are really innovative and that treehouse has me trying to figure out what the hell to do with my property over on the east side of the big island. I myself live on the mainland Los Angeles but I love Hawaii so much so I had to buy myself some land on the Hilo side and thank you for this video. Great video. This is almost our exact same itinerary, going the first week of August. Ironically we were supposed to go the week before you, but flight got cancelled at last minute and we had to reschedule, which was a blessing in disguise because the weather looked awful.
Zermatt had bad flooding the week after we left
The Hotel looks lovely. I notice you are calling it the Backstreet Hotel when the name says Backstage Hotel. Seems live a very expensive hotel. Internet search shows a single room being $1,000 AUD per night!
Love Maui ! And those WHALES !!! WOWWWW! So spectacular!! I went some years ago on like an inner tube that was huge with the then Pacific Whale Foundation when …. Lahaina was ok ( way before the fire ) and it was so amazing to see them up close along with dolphins. I’m Blessed now to have moved from the mainland to Honolulu and love living in Waikiki ( a lil over 2 months now ) Mahalo for your videos they are amazing 🧡🌺🧡🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Loved your content, never really thought much of visiting Costa Rica but after watching this, I have immediately added it on my list! I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for dream vacation destination like this. We went the end of July / beginning of August. It was hot! We planned most activities in the morning and evening and enjoyed the siesta afternoon. We loved Argo in Mykonos and Ambrosia in Oia
