Man what a little ripper! I like that when it does take a tumble it seems to end up back on its wheels a lot. nothing takes the fun out of a smaller kit (or any really) than having to be wandering all around kicking it back over constantly! It seems pretty tough too!

Nice comparison. I think the biggest letdown for the grasshopper are those paddle tyres. They don't provide lateral stability so it just wants to spin all the time. Especially when trying to accelerate out of a corner. I'm putting hornet tyres on mine which are softer and the spikes are supposed to bite more.

My first hobby grade RC was the Grass Hopper, back in 1984, i got a lot of fun out of it. 😊
