I’m 6’6” 215lbs. I bought the coupe because I can not fit in the HTC. So, it was a no brainer for me. The vision up top at a red light has me having to lean down a bit in order to see it. Leg room is in as well but it’s jacked all the way back but that’s pretty much true of every car for me.

Love the spec of this car. The black and blue on blue looks better that i thought.

I just sat in my first Corvette for the first time today, and I fit just like you, but I felt like it was too tight for me... maybe I need to just relax and have a chill pill. Literally posted on reddit how my dream died... I'm 6'4" and 270.

I just subscribed to you. I'm 6'4"/193cm. I sat in the C8 6. I had trouble seeing the road. Is that normal?

I am only 6' 0" but have shorter legs. I test-sat in both convertible and hard-top 2024 C8s...I DO NOT FIT! I was ready to order one, and literally cried that afternoon.

Interesting video. I was told my C7 max size was 6’ 3”, so interesting others are even taller in the comments. I figured the C8 was the same (obviously not). Another way I get in my C7 and my now C8 (when I can’t open the door all the way when an ahole parks too close to your car), is the go in headfirst with hands supporting you on the seat and then sliding your legs under the steering wheel. I don’t know with you being 6’ 5” would work. By the way you have a resemblance to Ringo Starr!

I’ve had 4 z06 corvettes. 2 hardtops (c6 and c7 coupes) and 2 convertibles (c7 and c8). I can definitely speak to this issue and agree that the only downside is not seeing your engine. Other than that, all of the advantages are with the convertible. I think the only other reason is if you want to get the best performance on the track and you get the most hard core track spec with the z07 and carbon wheels.

Am 193cm I have a Mustang GT 2018 no problem at all not tested corvette would be intresting and also please do another video where you try to get in other sportscars like Porsche, Ferarri and Lamborgine see how it works outs yea that a surgestion for next video how tall are you in cm taller then me it also depends little bit how tall the legs and body is. Honestly it depends on your legs and torso if you 6ft5 or 6ft6. SOME GUYS HAVE LONG LEGS AND SOME LONGER TORSOS..IT makes a difference

Have you seen the engine in a Porsche 911 or a cayman? No! What about most Maclarens? Neither. So if you have the extra money get the convertible 👍

You CAN see the clear engine cover on the HTC... just put the unit in "service mode." Click on the Unlock button, two times, then click on the Top Down to remove the engine cover (and the hard top remains closed over the cockpit)!

You should replace the steering wheel with a carbon fiber steering wheel.

Our 2023 HTC is perfect.

We have owned a number of Corvettes - and are waiting for our 2024 order (that MIGHT end up being a 2025 at this rate). The reason we are staying with the coupe is we make 1-3 month trips across the USA and Canada and need all the luggage space possible. Previously we didn't just take clothing but camping gear (in case you couldn't get lodging or wanted to stay in remote area). Now, with the mid-engine design we are going to have to forgo the camping gear and can no longer reach back to grab a drink from the cooler. Otherwise, I would LOVE the convertible because it is just too much trouble to remove our top and NO PLACE to put it if we are going cross county packed full. Because of how we use our Corvette, we wish they had added the adaptive cruise control to the 2024 or 2025 Stingray. : (

If you like having the top down at all, then HTC is worth it. Plus you don't have to clean the engine bay all the time. I know they say the engine bay gets dirty pretty fast.

I’m 6’5 and around 200 pounds….the issue I have is with the bolstered seats, they are tight and cut into my back/shoulders

Rapid Blue is the only color for me, have you ever thought about putting carbon fiber on the center console arm rest to help with oil skin stains and wear from your right forearm, I find myself placing my arm on center console when driving, I picked up my 3LZ Z06/Z07 in 2023, stealth packages,stage 2 carbon fiber. If I decide to add any carbon fiber, it would really only be the center arm console. Hit me back and let me know what you think.

Never liked convertibles until this corvette, hell, never really cared or liked corvettes until this one. Think for the first time ever, a convertible looks sharper than the coupe. Also what I noticed when looking at coupes, once you get past looking that the engine cover (which imo is kinda lame to look at anyways) only other thing you'll notice is a little bit of the exhaust with huge sensors on both sides. Only reason to really get the coupe outside of price, is weight if you're mainly going to be tracking it. Otherwise, the convertible adds 130 pounds, and still track capable all day

You can't see the engine when you are driving anyway, so who really cares?
