Yes! I agree - it’s been a very long time since I played Divinity, but it feels like BG3 is an evolution / more modern, but the game rules in Divinity are unique, whilst BG3 are super aligned with D&D 5E… and from memory, there’s less variables in how you interact with people and the world. The thing I remember the most in Divinity is the amazing environmental and elemental effects in battle, and they seem to have carried that over really well in BG3 too. PS: thank you for watching and sharing in the adventures with me! 🤗

Aww - I was experimenting with shorter, but more frequent to see if it was faster to get out with the editing… also did a little poll to find out the best length… but I feel this too short. I think I’ll revert! Ooo - sounds sort of like Skyrim, except the levelling up of goods. And the potion for talking to animals 😍 my first ever D&D character and it was the most fun thing to do… I will have no spoilers for the next one 😉 and will edit + post it asap 🥳 Thanks as always for watching!

Witchbolt isn't bad. Because this is a Larian game, it does double damage to wet targets, which synergizes very well with your Tempest cleric. Cast create water over enemies and then witchbolt them for double damage, and activations on subsequent turns save spell slots early. If the witchbolt crits, you can get x4 damage on wet targets, making witchbolt one of the best scaling abilities for late game as well!

@@acidplusbaseminush2o get what you’re saying , comes down to your play style and what you prefer but you make some valid points , however both ice and electric attacks all do same thing on wet targets 👍🏻

@@GameswithGalatea glad my tips are helping and I don’t mind if you give me a shout out on your next upload I’ll have to double check but I think when you use guidance on a dice roll it doesn’t use up a spell slot , 💯 one of best spells in game for this purpose so don’t be afraid to use it when rolling a skill check etc

@@acidplusbaseminush2o Ah! Electric for wet targets. Yes! This is definitely a Tempest cleric playground. Honestly there's just so many options to play with, and I remember all the joy I had in Divinity: Original Sin 2 mucking around with them. I'll at least try this one out - thank you!

@@GameswithGalatea There's a particular dialogue path you need to follow to learn the skill. You have to offer to help by playing along with her. Other options do help her finish the song, but don't give your character the skill.

Ah, these are good points! It's odd that in IRL D&D I _have_ to pay attention to my Concentration spells, but in BG3, there _feels_ like there's less of a need, but you're right! I should pay attention. I'm not sure if there's a signifier for when a character is Concentration? Thanks for the great tips also on wizard INT spells on Shadowheart and Astarion! 🙌🙌🙌

@@GameswithGalatea Yes, the tooltip of a spell will warn you if casting it will break an on-going concentration. But that warning isn't there (or is easily overlooked?) when casting Guidance in the UI of an ability check

I have a tendency to make a ton of different characters in MMOs, and in BG3 I was so tempted to do the same... but I definitely will have many playthroughs I think, similar to you! @@GameswithGalatea I think the reason I got it in my first playthrough is because I didn't immediatly understand how to jump on the bag. So I explored my surroundings a little.
