Can we use this video for educational purposes like a research or within an app development prototype for Master research?
I think this video is so thin of information. Could be longer and have much more information. For example, that the sounds come from the gradient coils, since the quickly changing magnetic fields will physically move the coils due to the lorentz force (higher slew rate give louder noises), and you have totally forgot the whole thing about tingling in the nerves that can come from electricity induced in nerves from the gradient coils. Also you have totally forgot all the information about its important that body parts doesn't touch each other so not conductive loops are formed, and in the same way, very important that body doesn't touch the inner bore of the scanner since it can cause localized heating by the RF field. Another thing you totally missed is the contrast agent (Gadolinium). However, the animation is very nice, and I think you could redo it in a much more informative way, by taking a MRI Level II training video, throw out all parts about emergency response (like the information aimed at firefighters and code personell) and also all parts about quench and converting it into a "kid friendly" format. Maybe even the parts about MRI Safe/Conditional/Unsafe labelling, but it could be useful with a short section about MRI labelling.
Hi How can I copy this awesome video to use as an example of how MRI works?
Is there any one for bone marrow aspiration in kids? 😥😥
1:24 my mri was one hour and 45 minuets
so girls are now being named jack and sam.
amazing helpful one thank you so much
how can I get a copy of this video I would like to show it to adults and kidsthanksgreat education piece
We (a small hospital in the netherlands) would like to use your video and replace the audio with a dutch translation. We would like your premission to do so. Thank you in advance for your answer.
2:34 sounds like a FLAIR pulse sequence.
When it's not being used, an MRI scanner makes bird-like chirping sounds!
Yeah, I already knew that. Some scanners, the scan at 2:34 is called ASL-QuipssIOP.
Thank u! This video was a Big help for my son and me.
