In this video, we’ll take you along our 8-day journey through one of the most mesmerizing regions in the world. From the blue waters of Pangong Lake to the rugged, otherworldly beauty of Nubra Valley or the serene monasteries on top of the hills, Ladakh is a land of contrasts that stole our heart hearts.
Buckle up and get ready to dive into Ladakh together!
DAY 1 - From Delhi to Leh
After an early morning flight from Delhi, we touched down in Leh, the capital of Ladakh. The day was all about relaxing and adjusting to the height.
DAY 2 - Leh to Lamayuru
Day two in Ladakh started with an early morning drive, taking us deeper into this incredible landscape. Our destination is Lamayuru, known for its surreal, moonlike terrain that looks like it’s straight out of a science fiction movie. On our way we visited the Hall of Fame, Spituk monastery, Likir monastery and Sangam viewpoint.
DAY 3 - Lamayuru to Leh
Day three in Ladakh was all about exploring some of the region’s most iconic sites. First, we set off for Lamayuru Monastery. We also visited Shanti Stupa in Leh and the Leh Palace.
DAY 4 - Leh to Hunder
On day four in Ladakh, we embarked on a journey from Leh to Hunder in the Nubra Valley, a region that’s famous for its striking landscapes and unique experiences. The day started with a drive over one of the highest motorable roads in the world: Khardung La Pass. Afterwards we visited the sand dunes of Hunder and the stunning Diskit monastery
DAY 5 - Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder
Day five in Ladakh was an adventure-packed journey as we set out for Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages in India. In Turtuk, we visited Turtuk bridge and the palace.
DAY 6 - Hunder to Pangong lake
Day six in Ladakh took us on a journey from Hunder to the iconic Pangong Lake, a destination we had been eagerly anticipating. The drive was long and challenging, but the destination made every bump in the road worth it. On our way we had a delightful encounter: Marmots! And then we reached the most beautiful lake in Asia. Pangong lake!
DAY 7 - Pangong lake to Leh
Day seven in Ladakh marked our return journey to Leh, with a few more incredible stops along the way. Before we arrived in Leh, we had a visit to Thiksey monastery and Hemis monstery.
DAY 8 - Leh to Delhi
Day eight in Ladakh was bittersweet as it marked the end of our incredible journey through this stunning region. As our plane took off, we watched the mighty mountains of Ladakh shrink below us. It was clear this trip would give us life-lasting memories.
