Brexit rules are Brexit rules and if you can not understand you have a real problem and its better that you stay away as we already have too many British boozers with an "understanding" problem. For me there is no loss at all as southern Europe Will be forced to rely on more civilized Europeans for turism and retirement. Só it is actually your loss. You can't divorce someone and tell them that they "can't come to your house as they wish, and you expect different and special treatment claiming that you should be able to" keep the Keys of the house you left, come in when you want, use the swimming pool and the tennis court" and throw a tantrum when you are told "No". It is this sense of entitlement that drives many Europeans mad. On top of that you have the arrogance to claim that it is our loss, because we don't get your all important money. I own a business and I want my customer's money but if they don't respect the house rules they are banned. It is as simple as that. Money is not everything my friend. No one here hates you but don't go around thinking you're special and different and don't have to respect other Peoples rules.

Hi Keith and did you watch the video. At a loss to see how it's negative. Essentially we questioned 15-20 Spanish people of which 6-7 were happy to feature in the video and 100 % questioned said they were very much missing Tourists/Visitors , not just from UK but from Belgium, France etc and were hoping they could get back to Spain sooner rather than later. 40 Brits were denied access to Spain on the 29th March FACT and sad/angry at this yes but not negative. Also pointing out that rules governing travel and access to Spain from UK and Vice Versa are ever changing, very confusing and not being followed. The passengers on flight in from Manchester were from what we can gather, were complying with criteria which should have allowed them entry to Spain yet they were not allowed in. Sad to see a country we love not able to be visited/utilised at present by many.

It does look that way David. Very sadly. Spain will be opening borders to travellers soon not just from UK but France, Belgium, Germany etc and my understanding is when this happens visitors can come in for 90 days on a passport and with proof of a negative PCR test or if exists vaccination certificate. Most UK airports seem to have portable clinics which offer the PCR tests from 70 pounds and when you arrive in Spain there will be no need to isolate. Perhaps this is to soon and will lead to further spikes but to early to say. The real cost will be on return to UK , assuming Spain and rest of Europe confirmed as Red Zone countries, because of the governments requirement for isolation in approved hotel for 10 days and 3 PCR tests. approx 2,200 Pounds not to mention additional cost of not being able to work and a big chunk of your holiday entitlement to sit in a hotel at Gatwick Manchester. Getting some comments saying we are being negative but frankly can't see much to be positive about on the travel front or getting to see loved ones-family front.

Yes David. Some great bars and cafes deserted but some others rammed. The missing people are the tourists and holiday home owners ( not just Brits but Belgians, French even the Spanish as we still can´t drive over regional borders). Vera and most of the coast resorts and big towns always abuzz, vibrant over Easter but Covid and travel restrictions certainly put pay to this. Such a shame as weather been beautiful. Agree re travel to Spain will start from May but will be to expensive for most and of course tagged to quarantine once back in UK:

Hi David yes awaiting some sound cancelling Mikes so can clear out wind and background noise. Wendy has a quiet voice at best of times but In Mercadona they weren´t happy with us filming and so had to keep volume low as they kept following us about.

@@davidcampbell7209 Hi David yes been to Rocquetas and Almeria city many times and very much like it. Last time though was Summer 2019 and went to meet up with a vintage scooter club who had a rally which ended up in Rocquetas
