@carlacargo-germany roof top tent, camping hot water on demand, solar generator! I'd like to put a kayak mount on it! I'm in michigan, we have alot of rails to trails for e-bikes! Can travel to other states on the rails to trails( old train tracks that have been converted) im a boilermaker or used to be!! I can weld and fabric! Price is ok, not sure about getting it to the state! Ive bought stuff from Sweden no trouble!!

Hi, es gibt verschiedene Kupplungen schau einfach dazu mal hier: www.carlacargo.de/products/hitches/ hab mir das KMX angeschaut. natürlich müsste hier bei dem Fahrrad ein adapter gebaut werden, ich denke eventuell abgehend an der laufradaufnahme hinten.

The trailer has a battery and motor and so does the bike.

@@tconnolly9820 The battery and motor are optional extras. The base price of 5.5k Euros for the motorised version of the trailer doesn't include the battery or charger! Crazy! You have to provide your own bike or ebike on top of that. You'll be looking at 10k Euros by the time you're done!

@@nickwinn7812 it's a good price for business and professional work. Regular cyclists don't carry euro pallets regularly. For most users that need to move anything, renting, hiring and even buying, carrying and re-selling a second hand van is far cheaper.

May I know why is that? I was thinking of getting one. 😢

The electric version of the Carla is not meant to be used with electric bikes, but for those pulling it with regular bikes. On the other hand it does offer a up to 6 kph assistance, which can be helpful when you have something really heavy on it and need to get the trailer to a location that you cannot get to with the bike attached to it.

@@Vardraq Die 6 KM/h "Fußgänger-Funktion" bietet eigentlich jedes E-Bike. Die gestellte Frage richtete sich mMn aber nicht an diese Unterstützungsstufe, sondern an die Tatsache, dass ein Carla-Anhänger ebenso wie das E-Bike davor, bis zu 25 KM/h unterstützt. Was insbesondere dann hilfreich ist, wenn man Lasten bis zu 250 Kilo bewältigen will. Denn sonst ist der Akku vom E-Bike inklusive des Motors schnell mal überlastet.

@@Heiko881 wie in Englisch geschrieben, die elektrische Variante des Anhängers ist nicht für die Benutzung mit Pedelecs gedacht. Dennoch kann man es als elektrische Version nutzen, um die Anfahrhilfe zu nutzen, muss man den Anhänger mal beladen wo hin schieben wo es nicht erlaubt ist das Fahrrad mit bei zu haben und es geht Berg auf. Für dieses denke doch eher seltene Scenario aber den Preis zu rechtfertigen … Wie geschrieben, der Haupteinsatz für den elektrischen Carla ist mit regulären Fahrrädern. Ansonsten schafft jedes Pedelec einen schweren Anhänger zu ziehen. Außerdem ist es nach StVZO nicht erlaubt den elektrischen Carla auch an einem Pedelec zu betreiben. In anderen nicht EU-Ländern mag die Regelung anders sein.
