My name is Isak Vidinghoff, and this channel is my way of documenting the process of recovering from burnout and rediscovering my "path to purpose." Like many others, I’ve struggled with the overwhelming challenges of burnout, but I believe there’s a way through-and I want to share that journey with you.
This channel isn’t about perfection or quick fixes. It’s about being real, vulnerable, and human. Social media has given me a platform not only to document my experiences but to connect with others who might be feeling the same struggles. My goal is to create a space where no one feels like they’re battling these challenges alone.
In the future, once I’ve overcome my own hurdles, I aspire to help others navigate the same issues. For now, I share my story with honesty and openness, hoping to reach those who need to hear it and build a community of support and understanding.

    Thank you for this video. I just got a promotion with my work & I feel so worthy because I know there are plenty of people who could do a better job & I am afraid I will screw it up. It is frustrating & doesn't make any sense because my manager & others I work with have been cheering me on & encouraging me forward to apply for this promotion & rave over who good I am doing. It is ridiculous that I don't see what they do!

Remember, your colleagues, manager, and others who have been cheering for you see your abilities and potential. They believe in you, and it's important to start to trust their judgment. Here are some strategies that could help: Own Your Success: Understand that you earned your promotion through hard work and skill. It's not just luck or being in the 'right place at the right time'. You deserve this. Positive Affirmations: Write down all the compliments and positive feedback you've received about your work. Refer back to this list whenever you're feeling doubtful. Seek Support: Talk about your feelings with mentors or trusted colleagues. You'd be surprised how many people feel the same way. Constructive Feedback: Regularly check with your manager on your progress. Constructive feedback can provide clarity and help in adjusting your self-perception to better match reality. Practice Self-compassion: Understand that it's okay to make mistakes, they are opportunities for growth. Nobody is perfect, and you're not expected to be either. Remember, overcoming imposter syndrome takes time and that's okay. You're already on the right path by acknowledging your feelings. You're doing great, believe in yourself as others believe in you, and soon enough, you'll start to see what they see. Hang in there! Isak
