This is a great part of Goku's personality that's carried over from OG Dragon Ball. He's always playing along with whatever theatrics the villain creates; For example, his fight with Murasaki in OG DB
this scene is underappreciated in how it characterizes these two. goku goes along with it just to see if there's some reason behind the posing. ginyu is bothered more by the incorrect choreography than the fact that goku is his enemy
Honeslty the only member of the ginyu force who seemed "evil" like frieza was guldo. I only say that cuz he is insecure about being too weak and actually seems to hate saiyans where the others actually seem to respect saiyans
I love this version of Goku. Hes just only interested in fighting and only saving his friends if they are in danger. Hes not like Superman how the original English dub protrayed him.
The original dubbing is one of the worst dubbing. I don't know how Funimaton dubbed it, even if they were amateurs. They could have done much better than their bad voice acting. Kai's dubbing is much better. I wish they would re-dubb classic Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, and the movies. Their dubbing was bad before, but after. They became one of the best dubbers

0:26 I have to say on closer inspection, Ginyu’s “ultra fighting pose”, although silly, looks pretty similar to the first part of the fusion dance. Maybe he truly was on to something. 😁

Buu gains the clothing and intelligence similar to the strongest he’s absorbed thus far, so after gotenks defused, we buu wearing piccolo’s cape and headdress since piccolo is stronger than both base trunks and goten. Similarly we can infer that ginyu would probably inhabit the stronger of the two, which is trunks (at the time), while the other is released from the body swap.
