Walley could sell his game to Ubisoft back in the days, but he refused it, because he really think that it could be a Minecraft competitor, sadly there was a DDOS attack and he was completely depressed about, he could've try to make this game better, but removing those good old features i don't know what he was thinking... It was a great game (one of the best in 2013).

If this gets released as a "new" or standalone game I will be quite angry. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. But it would feel like a cash grab. Also don't put your neck out for a guy you don't know. You don't know him, and he does have a pattern of going silent as soon as people aren't 100% positive. Still hope it'll be good though especially if it's like the alpha version.

I believe with the old Cube World engine he probably was very limited and and ran into a lot of walls at the end of the day. This new engine should allow faster more streamlined development with new tools at his and his SO's disposal and I'm very excited. Can't wait to see where this goes and the possibilities. Proud of Wollay for pursuing his passion through thick and thin.

I know the Ninja is difficult to use, but once you get used to it it doesn't become very complex. Of course you have to carry potions as always, but even so I see the Picaro very strong, the only thing that can be difficult about this class is the limit of somersaults you can do and his life.

The biggest problem I have with the developers is their lack of communication with their audience. While 2019's Cubeworld isnt a a bad game, let there be no doubt the massive disappointment that it was. It is unfair to ask of customers to be encouraging when they *seemingly* took the money and ran after they delivered an arguably lesser product than promised. The community was burnt and it will take a lot of work to rebuild that trust, and making past players pay for the game that was originally promised again is only insult to injury. I am aware of wallay's blog and devlog videos, yet he fails to give a semblance of genuine communication to his audience. He disabled comments, blocks people who judge him and god forbid you're not 100% supportive of him. He is a great developer, no doubt, and I personally dont think he or his games are a "scam". I can understand that he may be sensitive to criticism, but blindly supporting him and finger crossed hoping he delivers this time is simply blind faith. fool us once, shame on you. fool us twice, shame on us.
