Train Heist Animation | Full CGI Breakdown
These projects always left me wanting for more. Hopefully one day I’ll have the resources to create a full feature film, we’ll see how that goes :D

It was tricky to find an original mood and style for this setting, after a lot of iterations and research I found that night time with bright red flares was the the way to go, it gave me a lot of room to play with lights, shadows and silhouettes. Overall it took me a bit over 4 months from start to finish, a lot of that time was spent rendering since it’s my first time going 4K.
I really wanted to fully own this project and see how far I could go in each department. Animation and crowds was by far the hardest part, especially animating the horses and riders. FX was straight forward, mostly smoke, dust, sparks and snow simulations. Environments and lighting is my favorite department and had a lot of fun building it shot by shot.
Also I want to give credit to Sindre Tvete, the original locomotive model was based on his incredible work.
For the music I made my own version of Ecstasy of Gold so it matched the timing and pacing of the short, I was a bit rusty on orchestra composition so this project was a perfect opportunity to get back into music.
I hope you like this breakdown!

Train Heist - Full CGI Animation Trailer
มุมมอง 2.5K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
After watching some classic western films I felt inspired to create something epic. What started as a single shot later evolved into a full blown action sequence: an intense train heist set at night, with bright red flares illuminating the canyons. It took over 4 months from start to finish. I wanted to fully own this project and see how far I could go in each department. I took on every aspect...

Instagram ➤ zuren3d Artstation ➤ www.artstation.com/isaaczuren It took 3 months to finish this personal project. A lot of research went into this in order to depict as historically accurate as possible the arrival of the Spanish army to the Aztec capital Tenochtitlan for the first time. I'm aware the original city was bigger, but the project was getting so heavy for my computer t...

This reel represents my passion for cars and big environments. I have always been passionate about studying, analyzing and recreating reality. This project shows most of my skills in modeling, surfacing and lighting. Car modeled in 3DS Max. Environment, texturing, lighting and animation made in Maya. Rendered in Redshift.
Halo Opening Scene REMAKE
มุมมอง 3.8K7 ปีที่แล้ว
By Isaac Zuren The scene that started it all. As a personal project I decided to remake the classic Halo CE opening with obvious changes in cinematography and timing. Everything was modeled, textured and rendered based on the game's visuals. Took me two week to build and render everything. Created entirely in 3Ds Max, rendered in Vray 3, composed in AE. www.zuren.mx/
World War II DOGFIGHT Animation! Spitfire vs. BF 109
มุมมอง 58K8 ปีที่แล้ว
A World War 2 dogfight animation made entirely by me. It took me around 2 weeks to pull this off including render. I'm aware that there is not a story in here and most of the events here are inaccurate, the whole purpose of this short film was to see how far I was able to go in terms of animation, photo-realism, compositing and of course part of it was for fun. The animation was made in 3Ds max...

this is really good animation they should hire you for movie
Make one of Mexico City if it were to exist in the Dune universe and give it a tenochtitlan/modern style
Whats the name of the music or song played in the video??
Hey, it was composed by me :)
@@isaaczuren5380 Good Job! I really love how you composed it. It gives a very imperialistic theme to the city, which was an empire. Do you know where I can listen to the whole track?
@@isaaczuren5380necesitamos el nombre de la canción y mas música tuya por favor. Gracias
wow increible
comienza desde la panorámica del cerro del chapulín, ahora castillo de Chapultepec
Bravo!
How much ram did you need?
❤❤❤❤ felicidades por el vídeo! Viva la Hispanidad!
What is that tower in 0:01?
May some day you'll be able to do it at full scale, and not cut some content. Thanks for your work.
Espectacular. Gran trabajo, Isaac!!!!
Hello, I am working on a short documentary on the conquest of Mexico, would I be able to use this clip?
It’s really neat how can see the population of Aztecs crowding and moving and bustling towards where Cortes and his men are coming in, like a big event or show, the stage being set. The natives are talking amongst each other and everyone is aware that distant mysterious men are arriving. You can see the crowds moving out of the square and down the roads towards the causeway. The Aztec warriors also being assembled, lining up in formation. All the commotion. And the natives on the lake are approaching and watching with wonder the Spaniards moving down the causeway as well as Montezuma and his retinue and men are approaching the Spaniards on the other side. Beautiful work and great attention to detail. All the people would have known that a mysterious force was coming through their land. And I’m sure the people of Tenochtitlan were filled with excitement and fear when Cortes and his men were approaching the city, of course as well the warriors battle ready to face an opponent they have never seen before. Because at that time they still only heard stories of the Spaniards and didn’t know what exactly would happen yet. The Aztecs just gazed upon in wonder while the Spaniards were awed by the beautiful city and its own wonders. Something the Spaniards thought could only have been imagined in a dream or a fairytale. Truly awesome animation that should most definitely be made into a full length film.
Do you have any designs/specifications for the causeways? Always wondered how they would have been raised/removed
We really didn’t lose… we knew all of Europe was never going to stop so we mixed with them just so we could become stronger for what’s coming.
Incredibly well done! Would love to see some up-close renders as well if possible. Also, for another project, I'd highly consider the Inca's Machi Pichu!
I see it is touched up a bit, but I made the locomotive and the coal wagon!:) Super cool to see it in action😊
This is absolutely incredible, I am blown away by the dedication and versatility. Great work Isaac!
absolutely amazing great work
Dios y sus fuerzas están en la puerta de la ciudad
These pillagers and thieves were not of God
el dios de los judíos, no el de acá.
This is the dream Moctezuma had when he slept the night before the Spaniards came. 😮
I only see the spanish.Where are the native americaan allies numbering more than 200000
You can see them by the temples running towards the bridge with Spaniards on it
Barbarians at the gate...
New assassins creed map? anyone?
Esa ciudad manchada de sangre por millones de sacrificios, viva cristo rey
Christ would not approve genocide
@@JohnDoe-bh2lp what genócidie? 🤣
Came from Europe to destroy a futuristic city to build a generic one Imagine this island 🏝 city 2024 Skyscrapers floating on a lake in the middle, a tall pyramid reaching the stars 🌟 Unfortunately it's now history but the brown still survived the massacre 🇲🇽
Estaría genial si fuera un juego de assassins creed.
that one wide shot is still the best in this sequence!! well done mate
love that colonizer countries calling the invaded lands as barbaric and uncivilized when they have this kind of this😂
Sure there may be cities that look like this by the 2050s but mexico wont have anything that looks close till they are an american state
this is amazing dude straight out of a movie
You would not have flak with fighters up Paths of Hate is much better .
@@jhonsiders6077 I was 18 years old when I did this. I will always be proud. 9 years later, now that I work at the high end of the film industry, I understand the true value of trying not matter what :)
Beautiful! A masterpiece! Thank you for showing how amazing Tenochtitlan was!
What song was used? Is it custom audio? This whole thing is inspiring.
Anyone know what the music is called?
Now make one without those invaders just a ceremonial gathering middle of the kingdom
It's a battle between weakened Azetcs vs Spanish invading army. The people running towards the Spaniards are Aztec warriors
Great work! I tip my hat, from an animator to another
Still beter than the Marvel CGI
No veo a los aliados indígenas de Cortés. La conquista del Imperio Azteca (que no México) fue realizada por una alianza entre los españoles y los pueblos indígenas oprimidos por los aztecas.
Love the Death Whistle in the middle!
It’s astounding that The Mexica Were able to build a place like that out in the middle Lake Texcoco I know that one of the methods They used was the construction of Chinampas, but I feel that there Was more to it than that. I’d like to know more about what they Did to construct the city
Espectacular, vuelvo siempre a verlo
Kedo chido ❤ me imagino un universo donde los aztecas no caen y todo alrededor de lago es cyberpunk con skyscrapers todo fantastico haha
Kedo chido ❤😊
It would be awesome to see a movie about Cortes’s Conquest of Mexico made like Beowulf from 2007, realistically animated, with motion capture, this awesome video reminds me of that.
Excellent video.
Soy el Unico que piensa que parece un videojuego como God Of War o asi xd?
I think the actual Tenochtitlan was a lot bigger than this, but good video 👍🏼
this is very cool
Whoaaaaa! I read about this in like 3-4 different books and honestly this is the closest to how it looked in my imagination 😊 The few times I drink liquor I always think about writing a fictional account where the Spanish are embarrassingly defeated and how our world would have been if that happened 😌 maybe my next birthday or New Years Day I will start a draft. And if I’m successful I will pay you a zillion money to make a animated version of the book, since it will be like 1000 pages long ❤
@seph3803 no they lost all the fights the had 2 the mexihka, the only reason they won was cuz the sickness they brought wiped out 95% of the population
If the Inca or Aztecs defeated Spain and were able to adapt to Old World diseases then we'd have a drastically different world today. They would've been able to recover and eventually trade for weapons with Spanish rivals and pirates.
