Thoughts about China and the world 🌍🌏🌎
The Rise of Xi Jinping Explained...a little bit...
From Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and Hu Jintao to Xi Jinping, the top leadership of China has seen a transition over the years from 1949 to 2012. How did Xi Jinping rise to power?
Moreover, through the non-institutionalized power succession of the Chinese Communist Party, how did Xi Jinping, as an individual, climb to the peak of power without a clear path? #xijinping #communism #china

It always amuses me whenever people use history to support claims of possession by some country or other. How far back do we go? The earliest traces of early humans, Homo erectus, in East Asia have been found in China. Fossilized remains of Yuanmou Man were found in Yunnan province in southwest China and have been dated to 1.7 Ma. Humans first evolved in Africa, and much of human evolution occurred on that continent. The fossils of early humans who lived between 6 and 2 million years ago come entirely from Africa. Maybe Africans have valid title to the whole world?
Thank you for your comment! How I understand is that territorial dispute is always tricky. International law, national power, military capacity, history, even ethnic sentiment could all be used to claim territory. Especially, in International Law, there is a concept 'historic title'. According to Oxford Public IL, "the term 'historic title' is similarly used to denote both the source and the evidence of a right over land or maritime territory acquired by a State through a process of historical consolidation (Territory, Acquisition)".
@@jeffye679 So, as an example, is New Caledonia a lawful French territory just because France stole it and called it part of France because they wanted its resources? Or does it belong to the indigenous people,? Or does it belong jointly to all the people living there? I must say that I find these laws and historical titles very disconcerting.

Soft Chinese propaganda...Notice language used....All China's influence is described as 'neutral' and 'non-confrontational', but all other countries, especially western ones are manipulative and coercive; That China only seeks to nuture and Myanmar and protect Chinese citizens there. Bullocks! All the protests against CCP intervention in Myanmar are fabricated? No, there is truth; China has shown a pattern of their own form of intimidation and coercion. They offer loans and resources to developing nations and when the nations cannot pay, China then "accepts" land use for their vessels or military projection in lieu of a defaulted loan. The CCP is not to be trusted.
Thank you for comment. As I can see you do not agree the perspective I deliver through this video. First, please help me to contact Chinese government or whoever because I haven't received their payment for this 'soft propaganda' video so far. Second, China is driven by it's national interestes in this Myanmar situation, which has been emphasized and repeated multiple times in this video. No defence or justification for China in Myanmar, but try to describe the situation from the perspective of national interests. Also, as far as I know, China has one and only oversea military base in Djibouti Africa, which also is the location of USA, French and Japanese military bases.
@@jeffye679 I didn't specify whether you get payment or not, but you word alone doesn't negate if you did. And "as far as I know..." is a set of weasel words used by persons involved in propaganda to appear disassociated. There's the base on Coco Island on Myanmar itself...the base in Cambodia, the base in Tajikistan....and lets not forget the base in Cuba...also since Sri Lanka defaulted, Hamantota will be turned into a Chinese naval port, since it has the 99 year lease. There's others, but can't say in the clear.
First, I am not sure if we have different definition of 'propaganda'. But I don't think it's the right way to label some opinions that you disagree as 'propaganda', especially this video doesn't praise or critize China, but describe and analyze China's behaviors in Myanmar from the perspective of national interests. Second, again, China has one and only military base in Djibouti, which is a fact. Besides those ports you mentioned, China also invests or partially controls ports in Germany, Greece, Spain, Singapore, and Italy. Of course, you can consider China's behaviors as economic manipulation or other negative intentions, which is one convincing and realistic narrative of many. But listing some ports controlled or invested by China does not necessarily lead to the conclusion that China is trying to control the located countries or China shouldn't be trusted, and it sounds more like some judgements under the personal anti-China sentiment.
@@jeffye679 The only factual thing I've noticed in your ravings is that you are an advocate and shill for the CCP. Mine is more an anti-CCP sentiment. I've enjoyed places like Singapore and Taipei...places that show what China would be like without the CCP. I feel sorry for the suffering of the Chinese people as a whole, including various religious and ethnic groups, struggling at the yoke of the CCP. One day I hope they will rise up and take back what is theirs.
Has the CCP abandoned Marxism?

From my point of view, your discussion n is good. You just mentioned only Rohingya's conflict. Since Myanmar's independence, many other ethinc conflicts especially Kayin, Kachin, Shan ethinc conflicts which are rooted from British colonial period are the main reasons of 70-year-Civil war in Myanmar
The real criminal in Myanmar is the insanely corrupt military Junta that refuse to give power to the civilian government
