I was 15, my thighs covered in blood and the alcohol bottle with the pills on the side waiting for me, I remember the skin on my arms being a darker shade than my skin tone because of the burn scars. it's the beginning of september and this still hits just as much as it did during summer. i can see myself listening to this during winter evenings too, when it's getting dark early and you're sitting in your room in total darkness, staring at the walls - it's still too early to go to sleep, but also too late to start doing anything. It's just right to sit and wait for your thoughts to calm.

Tonight the stars are so overwhelming. I've never felt so small.

The one thing I find odd about this band.. They usually put random tracks in other albums which don't fit the style. ie Trapdoor shouldn't have been in Paper Mache. Clearly, like this, they work better in other albums
