I also recently reread the series! I first read it at 22, now at 34, and yeah I'm sitting here like sobbing over these babies killing each other. It really is much more violent than I remember, and it's...intense! Katniss is much more the unwilling heroine than I recall, too. Not interested in love, barely interested in life, kind of a b!tch, honestly pretty relatable. Book 1 is my fave, I was PISSED about the end of 3, and the prequel was really creepy and I loved it.

So glad to have found your channel! Both our reading and decor tastes are eerily similar. I feel like I can take your book recommendations to heart, whereas with other Booktubers I have to take them with a grain of salt because our sensibilities might not be the same.
