I NEED ONE 😭😭😭😭
Everybody needs one. :)
Really great work. Maybe I’ll make at attempt at the sconce. You made it look very easy.
Thank you! You should! It was a fun project. If you get stuck feel free to comment questions. The apoxy sculpt did all the hard work of keeping everything together in the end.
FANTASTIC! I love it! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the sweet comment!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
This was so sweet! I loved the sentimental story + the look of the mural! I've never heard of P4A but I'll def look into it
Thank you so much! This year was the biggest P4A ever. They raised more than 3.5 million dollars!
You made the cursed nightmare that is Beanie Sandferbs very pretty somehow, bravo!
Lol. We love a cursed furby around here. Thank you!
That’s cool!
Thank you Gerry! Are you familiar with Hank and John? I'm curious if they look like themselves. I've been staring at them for too long. lol.
Hey... Motion tracking on 08:02... How did you do that... In which software????
The tracking for the bench swing was done with the native tracker in Adobe After Effects. The tire swing was tracked by hand frame by frame in After Effects because the tracker wasn't getting anything usable at the time. I think there are a lot more options now and the automated tracking in most software does a better job now but these turned out pretty cute anyway.
love it
Thank you!
Very cute characters.Well done to all of you! Happy Holidays and Blessed be.
Thank you so much! Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Y'all nailed the challenge they are all adorable and soup-er cozy 😊
Awwwww. Thanks for the soup pun!
Love the resourcefulness
Thank you so much! We definitely love to try new things and new materials and problem solve as we go. :)
Both girls did a BRILLIANT JOB!! Y'all should be proud, you two are stunning!
They say thank you! I totally loved both of their costumes this year.
That UV paint is so freaking cool! Reminds me of the Oogie Boogie part of the movie! :D
They turned on the blacklights specifically for the Oogie Boogie part so everything looked normal until then. It was a pretty cool effect. :)
Looks amazing! What theater is this?
Thank you! It's the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
Wow that's amazing 😍
Thank you so much! It was a really fun project, especially for Mansion fans!
More haunted mansion DYIs props
Absolutely! We love HM. It'll be a while before we do more though.
Happy Halloween! 🎃 I posted a really fun video celebrating the 30th anniversary by reading Sally’s book, seeing the movie in 3D and making a fun treat from the official cookbook!
So fun. :)
BFDI be like:
Lol. Yup. I think the tire swing would win.
Wowwww part II of this amazing project. 5:24 The UV-paint idea just gave that spooky aesthetic to the pieces, love it. 8:15 nailed Jack's face drawing. You said you only had one week to make the pieces? OMG you probably worked 24/7. 10:41 this was such a cool idea 🎉🎉 your daughter just turned 10?!! Congratulations sweetheart, may all your birthday wishes come true and I wish you an amazing, sweet and full of rainbows year ahead 💜🥳✨️ It is so amazing to have your family helping you out with your projects. So precious. My daughter is 3 years old and she is not the most patient girl right now, she usually sits next to me, when I am making my videos, and plays with clay and my tools for a couple of minutes, then she just goes do something else, like destroy the house 😂😭🧨💣. I guess it is normal for her age 😂😂😂😂 Amazing video. Have a lovely weekend 🎉✨️ and Happy HALLOWEEN 🎃
Thank you for another sweet comment! Happy Halloween to you as well. When my girls little they were the same as yours. Three year olds are such hilarious weirdos. Yeah, very limited time to build all of this. Always a sprint to the finish. Only real bummer is that I never had time to get final shots of the cats. Ah well...
Wow I remember being there it was fun I remember hugging the snake you made
He's very huggable. :)
What a great team effort!!!... As a fan of NBC, this is spot on...🎉❤
Huge team effort. :) We've got part two coming out this week!
❤ 4:15
It turned out so cute!
I love thiiissss omg this is two years old????? And has 19k views omg congrats!😊
Thank you! Yeah, we made this video before all the Palisman Owl House episodes so Sam's staff is a nice simple project.
You guys are great animators
working on it. :)
Nice
Thank you! You were an inspiration on this one!
THAT SOO WICKED GOTHIC I'M GOING TO MAKING IT AND PUT IT ON MY HOUSE FOR DECORATION IDEAS.
Awesome!
I wish I could make a million accounts and on all of them subscribe to you
Awww. That's very sweet! Thank you!
Omg the hamster is so cute wait he’s a gothster omg so cute
He's a definitely a fantastic little friend. I crave mushroom pizza every time I see him.
Omg he’s the hamster version of ty why did I not notice even the hat omg
And also I did the astetic generator I’ll show you when it’s done
@@mrsjennythomas Can't wait to see it!
This is awesome 😍
Thank you so much!
😮😍 those are amazing!!
Thank you! We're so glad you liked them!
You are very talented :D
Thank you so much! It's lots of practice. :)
You have such a cool job. This is just fantastic. I could watch a 5 hour documentary about this project, because everything is just so interesting, the creative process, how you built all the props, the storytelling... this video is gold. Thanks for sharing 💜🌟🎃
I'm so glad you liked it! I definitely have a fun job. I love that it's always something new and we're constantly having to get creative and figure new things out. Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
Amazing! I love El Capitan
It's pretty awesome.
These are so cool! Dude what happens to all the props after the events are over?
Thank you! Some are stored and some are trashed/recycled. It depends on whether they think they'll re-use them. Everything for Nightmare will go back to the warehouse for next year since it's an annual show.
@@GuildoftheFlyingTortoise cool! Man kinda makes me wanna make a prop for house decor.
The girls always want to make epic decorations and costumes and I'm always working insane hours this time of year. We're pretty excited to have the Haunted Mansion sconces this year. @@Megorium
What software are you using? Thank you
Hello! There were several used in this video. The rock animations were done in Rough Animator on an ipad. A lot of the mouth animations were done with Adobe Character Animator and the eyes and compositing was done in Adobe After Effects. Rough Animator is a great beginner animation ap and isn't super expensive.
Ok, thank you@@GuildoftheFlyingTortoise
Any time! Have fun with it!@@bolnie3453
hahaha i love that hamster dude XD
Right? He's so cute!
Hi I love your channel I’d really like to see more owl house crafts❤
Aww. We're thrilled you like the channel. I'd be surprised if we didn't do more Owl House related content in the future and we've got a bunch in the archive starting with the super old season 1 crafts from June of 2020, the Hooty chocolates, the Hunter pun in our pun episode, the wood carved Palismen, the Palismen as people, the sketch of The Collector in the Favorite drawings episode, and our Finale crafts.
Yeahhhh I am glad you are back with another video! 🥳🌟🌞 I genuinely missed it! It is so interesting all your creative process. You, and your family are so talented. Hobo turned out amazing, and the goth farmer is on point. When you talk to each other it is always so cute and funny. It adds a special touch to the video 💜 9:50 nailed the punk vibes 🔮
You are so sweet! I've been working crazy hours on several massive shows but hopefully I'll have time this month to actually edit our videos again. One of the massive projects was for Nightmare Before Christmas 30th Anniversary at the El Cap. There will be at least one video for that coming up super soon. Sam and I have been watching all of your videos during our evening cuddle time on the TV. I need to get on the computer so I can comment! Love all of your adorable projects!
I honestly would never be able to do this, for one,I'm scared of just touching a knife,I hate sharp things,I'll get my uncle to do it,I remember that he carved a bear and gave it to me along time ago when I was a kid,I can always just him to make one for me XD
Yeah, it can be pretty scary to use a knife. We had the safety gloves which helped a lot. It's nice that your uncle could do it! You could sculpt a model out of clay that he could use as a reference maybe?
Wonderful, wonderful family creative collaboration! Just discovered your channel and subscribed.
Thank you so much! Your sweet comment made our day!
I hadn't seen that that technique before with the draping cloth effect on the sconces. I definitely want to try sculpting again this year. You made it look so fun!
Awww. Yay! Sculpting is lots of fun once you get in a groove.
They turned out amazing. Now I wish Palisman exist in real life so we can all fly on staffs and cast magic and go on amazing adventures
Same! That would be amazing!
Are these magnets that hold it in place at the end?
Yup. The plexiglass is only 3mm thick and 5" x 7" so the magnets were plenty to hold it all together. I think if the plexi was a lot thicker or bigger than 8x10 you might have to use more robust hardware.
Alright already, I've seen enough...you can go ahead and send me everything but just this once......please.
I know right? I never have time to make anything like that for our house, just for work... Maybe some day...
Impressive ❤
Thank you so much!
Dude! I loooooooove the way you did those plants. Just everything about that painting is perfection! The girls both did wonderful jobs! I love their concepts! yes Ty you drew an amazing face! And Sam those eyes are stunning. Dad's is so badass! That pointillism is so good! I love it!! Man I wish I hadn't have been so slammed last month I couldn't join y'all. BUT I still wanna do one in the future! It's a fun art prompt!
Thank you! I hope you have time some day to do it. We'd love to see what you come up with. Your stuff is always so unique and creative. :)
plz share link 8x12 inch 3mm sheet
We purchased out plexi on Amazon. They have 8x10 and 12x12 but not 8x12. You can potentially purchase a larger sheet at your local hardware store and cut pieces to your specifications. Many art supply and craft stores have framing departments that can cut the plexiglass for you. You can also source the specific sizes you need from a local plastic supply store or sign shop. Hope this helps!
@@GuildoftheFlyingTortoise thanks for reply
I saw the notification of your video and I got very excited. You are so talented. It loved this project. Btw you nailed you thumbnail. It looks amazing ⚡️💜🎃
Oh my gosh you are so sweet! We've been binging your videos (on our TV) and we love all of them. Your lighting and super close shots are definitely what I wish our footage looked like. I need to find more hours in the day. :) Sam and I will get on the computer so we can comment on all of your videos that we've watched this weekend. :). Thank you again!
