One grueling hike a bike in the snow. Our brakes and gears froze and went over the bar umpteen times, but it was still great fun!

It's Piz Boe in the dolomites. 👌
@@methcohna Ok, thanks 😃
How did it go???
Was this Saturday? It was torrential rain when I headed out in the morning
Nah this was back in summer.
*HOLY SHIT🤘👌🤙*
Wow! Sick lines dude!
Yes boys!!!! Some class riding!
Awesome riding !!!! The dolomites look stunning .
Cheers buddy. Every corner revealed another spectacular view, won't be long before we go back. 😁
Any update on your shoulder? Did you get surgery did it come out after
Watch that shoulder 🚴♀️🚴♂️
Beast 👌
Everyone this isn't a problem. What's happening there is actually a favor those of you who have this derailleur. What you hear is the clutch that is keeping the chain tight, everytime you compress the suspension of your frame, the chain tightens and therefore pulls the pulley which moves the clutch slightly. You can eliminate the noise with a weaker clutch but then there would be more chain slap. Otherwise, the only flaw here is the frame design, which is tightening the chain as the suspension compresses. But this is normal, however there are bikes like yeti, which frames have an infinity link suspension setup, allowing for a completely linear suspension movement and thus eliminating any chain tension as the suspension compresses. So if you were to move that derailleur on say a yeti sb6, this noise wouldn't be there.
This noise must be another bird that you have there maybe hyden Buy a cat and the noise will disapear
Sweet !
Sickkkkk !!!
that's how suspension sometime works, chain length grows so clutch is activated, knock that you hear is a breakage of static friction.
nice run dude
nice run dude
That's the best go pro I've seen down this track... Rapid! I'm going to ride this tomorrow. Pumped!
+TheNotoriousMIC Thanks man, one of the best trails round here for sure! It was also filmed on a cheap Xiaomi Yi Chinese camera!
This is fucking nuts! Where abouts is it?
same problem with my pivot......fuck sram!!!
Here is a write up on how to fix it. bicyclingaustralia.com.au/2013/08/sram-type-2-overhaul
Great article, I thank you.
Make sure to size the chain while suspension is fully compressed
My Clutch was sticking on my X9 and SRAM warrantied it with an X0 and now you yahoos are saying it has issues too? lol. Dayum.
I had to change the shifter, but I am still running sram chain and cassette
Yeah I fitted this to a 5k Ibis Mojo HD build, I was massively disappointed, the whole suspension felt clunky, notchy and loud. Turned out to be the derailleur. I am now running a Shimano Zee with shadow plus. My bike is now the awesome machine I had read about, love it! Totally rate the Shimano Zee, fantastic for the money!
@methcohna okay thanks
@alextroch Ae Forest is near Dumfries, Scotland
relly cool! where is Ae?
@rorutherford if you have the money you could upgrade your fork to a Fox 36 (either talas or float) this would slacken the head angle a bit and give it a more stable feel. Plus you get an extra 20mm travel
ah yes, i have this years model....doesn't seem to have the forks for much in the way of larger drops. :(
@rorutherford It's a 2008 Remedy, the year after they reduced the travel and slimmed the bike to more XC style.
nice jump! what year remedy is it?
For all the thicko's on here that think the only kind of tabletop is laying your bike flat mid air. When the title says tabletop, he's talking about the jump itself, rather than 2 seperate ramps, it's flat between the two ramps.
where is the table?
@LennyKGW well thats just a longer tabletop.
oh my god you poor soul :( I think mine is dislocated for over a month. not feel pain or anything but my humerus sticks out in the back.
@dTlolTb You can't just push it back into place due to bony structures that may get in the way, you may cause more damage. It helps to pull the arm (distraction) so that it may allow the muscles, which are probably going to be in spasm so that they guard the joint, to relax. Hope this helps!
nice at forest of ae downhill lol
This is why everyone in the outdoors should get a wilderness first responder... you are lucky they didn't ruin your shoulder worse... ! WFR's people lets help each other out.. geez.. Glad it worked out for you..
I can dislocate my shoulder when ever i want and i can lick my elbow because of it :P
very good video !!! I'm a friend of your cousine Mia ... she showed me this video and I was very impressed, I also ride downhill and freeride !! yours, valentin
No not at all. Dislocating the shoulder is when the ball in the rotator cuff pops out and then the arm tightens disallowing the ball to go back. So pulling the arm would make room for the ball to go back in basically.
huge jump! nice vid plz accept video response
That was ssoo gnarly ! really liked it !
yehhh boi sick
nar, im 13 now, just put random date of birth
Ugh, I have a video about reducing shoulders and have gone through the process about...10 times and 2 surgeries, and the sound of it going out and back in is still ugly.
thats horrible, what does MTBing have to do with the environment, if anything it utalizes it
