@@angemoncommandexx it’s like this for some others and was the exact same for me buddy, it’s very weird, it does work you just have to try a different one. It doesn’t mean your tags are broken it’s just the app and the tags I just think they don’t sometimes connect properly… many of mine did that exact thing :) hope it helps

@@DeclanVidz Thx buddy for a swift reply. I trued all the tags I got. 3 of them, were a dud (just vibrate with a beep but no change on the phone). The other behave like the ones in your video, but when on the pad, nothing happens. Also, the ones you have, I can order them cause Amazon doesn't ship does to Serbia, so yeah...

@@angemoncommandexx ahh sorry to hear, that’s really dumb they don’t ship there as I don’t know how well others work as I only used those but sorry to hear, all I can suggest is to keep trying and make sure you’ve got 215 NFC 144 Byte tags

It could honestly be anything, a lot of the time just toggling those options on and off can fix it, sometimes you may need an entirely different device, some of my tags did the same it really was a case of just cycling through them, I don’t know why the app is like that but eventually 1 of the tags will work

@DeclansGuides thanks for the reply, mate. I ordered the 2nd lot of tags in your description, and the app works first time now. I didn't order any you did at first, but they were exactly the right spec. At least it's working now. Thank you for your video.

@juja2times714 you can’t use the original tags that’s why it won’t work using the Batmobile… you can’t rewrite those

Move it about a bit, it’s very finicky, it will eventually work, try turning NFC on and off and eventually the menu will pop up allowing you to write on the tag!

Could be an update issue that

If you see in the video mine does say the same… just ignore it and it should go away and should pop up prompting an install for the actual DLC

@@Not_my_man I’m not sure, it should switch you do have to close the game and then you can rewrite the tag… the game doesn’t remember the tag until you put it in the board but if you keep the game open and try and switch characters it won’t change.

@@BibJib are they 144 bytes 213? If so just keep trying, the app as I said is very finicky, try a different one, sometimes turning NFC on and off or WiFi on and off, closing the LEGO tag editor app etc.

@@DeclanVidz each time I scan on of them it says new tag collected with a white screen saying empty tag, they are also 137 bytes does that matter?

@BibJib it could be that, I got told to use 144 bytes so that it can fit the character into the tag, you may have got the right tag but not the right byte size

@@DeclanVidz an s21 or s22, also is the download for the dlc still available on the PlayStation store? Edit: I figured out how to get the nfc activated, I got the ps4 version with the Wii U starter pack because I read that the portal is cross compatible between everything but the Xboxes.

@@DeclanVidz I will start testing that Stu out once everything is delivered, these nfc chips are the reason I decided to get the game, I didn’t get the game in the first place due to the building and I looked it up and the only thing I really needed to build was the car and possibly the portal.

Try a different tag, or turn NFC back on and off, it’s just being a bit daft when it does that, it did it to me loads of times but eventually it will write it, you just have to keep at it and eventually it will write onto the tag… that’s why I got a few as sometimes 1 would act dodgy out of 10 for example even though that 1 actually had no issues it was just the app being daft and not registering the tag sometimes lol

@DeclansGuides I bought a pack of 50 and I must've ran through all of them at least 3 times. I also turned off and on NFC about every time and it still didn't work. I read online that the app only like certain types of tags so maybe that's the issue.

@@lolf05 I have had people in here in 2024 telling me this still works, it really isn’t a tough process and as said in the video it can be fiddly but it does still work. You may need to try a different tag, turning NFC on and off, redownloading the app, make sure you get a vibration on the back of the phone and wait for it to fully pop onto the tag

@@azadruhmkorf8568 they’re the ones I used, you may be doing something wrong, try toggling things on and off or deleting app and reinstalling, turn nfc on and off!

@@SuperNoob45932 you need to allow unknown apps to be installed, by default there’s like a thing you have on android that doesn’t allow untrusted apps until you allow it then you can install it
