if you are serious this stove needs modification = firebrick, 4" stainless pipe the right side up and burn from the top down.

The pipe they give you is galvanized and UPSIDE DOWN so it will leak plenty of creosote. It converts easily to 4" right side up stainless with a 3.5" x 4" stainless adapater (Amazon). Use 6 pieces of 1 1/4" thick firebrick on the bottom and back side of the stove or just the sides. Burn your fire wood from the top down not bottom up (see instructions on TH-cam). And it will obey you! I am in northern Maine and this knowledge is hard won. It will burn all night if you do this, otherwise not.

I've built maybe 5 fires in my 12'x16' workshop. 2 burns outside to burn the fumes off and it still smells like chemicals burning inside my shop

I hate to see people struggle with their wood stoves. Seems like you have a good handle on it and are modifying it as needed. I have been building tiny woodstoves for a few years now and have installed them in several RV's. I wintered all last winter in Wyoming last year with one of my stoves. First thing I look at is air filter and see if it has a NGK plug It’s surprisingly the main reason or the fuel lines or purge ball Easy to fix and parts are cheap
