Surpised to find Jack Jones in this video, he died a couple of days ago on 10/23/2024 at age 86, a 1-derful singer. Jack's father was Allan Jones, a tenor who starred in movies with the Marx Brothers in the 1930's.

He really favors his Mom more so than his Dad❤

I saw David Cassidy in concert in his later years, and he was so mean to the audience. It was a small venue (obviously) and we were all laughing at how belligerent he was with y=us, Awe, RIP.

I find it so sad, that the 1 person David had been wanting to acknowledge him, as an all around artist, never did. Maybe that’s why they didn’t even mention the name, Jack Cassidy . I know he had passed many years prior to the taping of this, but my hope it’s hot as hell where you are now, Jack

Whoa David 1 of my fav songs not that i didn't love all of them u didn't deserve wot happened to u and u are so missed i loved u from my last few yrs of school rushing home to watch Partridge Family obviously we didn't have video recorders in those days i believe a lot of yr problems stemmed from yr relationship with yr Father he should have loved u not been so jealous of u i remember an interview u did once when u said how hurt u was that Jack felt that way instead of supporting u and the last few yrs of yr life i wish she had stood by u instead if divorcing u and trying to turn Beau against yr son was ur life and she broke yr heart when she did that i truly hope yr at Peace now and singing up there in Heaven with all the other great entertainers we have sadly lost u were so talented God bless u RIP BEAUTIFUL SOUL XX

Poor David. I recently read his biography. He couldn’t get over the fact his dad (a z rated actor) left the family for another woman and had a new family. David was of his time. A teeny bob pop star. He boasts that he packed more stadiums than the Beatles and was ‘bigger than the Beatles. The documentary showing his last years as a drink addled old before his time man. Still besotted with his dad. Cringeworthy

Bzzzzzzzzzz No david never did treasure any title like "teenage heartthrob" In fact he despised being a heartthrob to to 16 yr old pop the bubblegum girls. Something some of us wish was more common since some rockers and such slept with girls that age and younger

i think he is wonderful...but depressed.. can see it in every emotion he has..he is in a depressed state.

I did not know how nice of person David Cassidy was, and very kind. I really loved this version "I Think I Love You" he did on the show. You can tell how he would get into the music too. We were born the same year. He went way too soon. *REST IN PEACE DAVID CASSIDY*

I didnt think much of David Cassidy I thought he was a pretty boy. Hearing him belting out "She's so Beautiful" proves me wrong he can sing and act. Thank you for this rare gem. 😊

I know so many wished Susan and David ended up together but repeatedly in his books he never saw her more than a friend. The one encounter they had David said was a mistake. He only thought of her as a sister. In this dedication of his life I’m sure his wife didn’t appreciate all the kissing and saying love you’s starting with Susan saying them. David was clearly uncomfortable. I don’t know why most don’t see this. He was on tv and everyone was watching his reaction to every word. Susan carried it to far with his wife sitting right there. Read his books please. You will get the truth right from his mouth to paper!!!

The look on David's face when he saw Beau on the screen was touching beyond words! David loved his son so much! He even admitted that during his period of alcoholism, if it hadn't been for Beau's intervention, he would've killed himself.
