Hi, I am thinking to use this for a matrix. So is all channels routed automatically to all outputs parallel? If I need Input one to output 1 and input two to output 2 for two projectors.

I'm just trying to figure this out. Is there a way to assign the outputs to be quickly switched from, say, a black screen to the video mix? Looks like aux may be able to do that, but it's unclear how to set those up.

I HAVE A CHAALENGE, ON MY HDMI OUTPUT DISPLAY MONITOR SHOW THESAME 4 SECTION ON THE MIXER, HOW DO I MAKE ONLY SINGLE DISPLAY ON THE EXTERNAL SCREEN?

I'm needing to assign the RCA audio input to more than one HDMI input. In other words, for example, HDMI camera inputs on input 1, 2 and 8 should all take audio from the RCA jacks. The other inputs take audio from their respective HDMI source. Does anyone know if this is possible?

DONT BUY - I bought the V8HD, and noticed I had to buy 10 other of their products just to be able to use their aerocaster switch/Live software for basic stuff like, user-friendly switching software and Live streaming software. I am warning u guys stay away from Roland products. They are the first company that i have ever came across to do that type shady of business. The products are named one thing, then they only do a very specific job, so then you need to buy their other products just to use everything to its full capacity. Anyone who builds their products and names them in a deceptive manner is a scammer. You were warned, but u can see for yourself. Roland are scammers. DO NOT BUY. Their sales don't know their products well enough to tell what you need. Their technical support doesn't even allow phone calls to be able to ask people what they need to buy, they will only use emails and give u 24-48 hrs to respond. This is a horrible company, its been a horrible experience, i never write reviews but man, i am not happy with them at all. I will make a video warning people. The only videos they have up are from their paid advertisements, so i believe its important to have reviews from decentralized sources so people can learn the truth and save a lot of money.

We have audio coming in via RCA from our sound board. Its coming into our Roland V-1HD. When audio comes out of the Roland V-1HD, does it come out of HMDI? Or when you come in with RCA, is the only audio out option RCA (and not HMDI). We really want HDMI out for audio because the our is going into our YOLOLIV YoloBox.

Rookie question but does this unit work with Alpha Channel or only Chroma Key?

Unfortunately NOT 60FPS! Why doesn’t Roland build these mixers with built in WI-FI. Everyone of there devices is missing something…either frame rate is low, audio 48 at 16bits, or doesn’t have USB 3. You should be able to record to scandisk on all of these as well. It’s 2021, all of A/V mixers should be doing 4K. The only way you get it all is by spending $10G. Joke

Hello there, I have a problem with my ROland V 8HD. I stream church service and I'm good with the video but my streaming audio is vey bad. it always come out with background noise. what can I do to get clear output audio. Source of audio is the church's main Adio Mixer.

Good Morning. I have a Roland V-8HD device, but I would like to know what is the difference between the normal hdmi input (1-6) and the 'scaler' hdmi input (7-8)? I have a Canon G50 that only works on hdmi 'scaler' inputs

I've had this since January for my church and now we're are back and using it. I tell everyone it's the most important piece of equipment! What i want tho is a computer or tablet type app so I can control it without having to be right infrastructure of it.

This is probably single handily the best review and in depth walk through of this mixer. I just now bought one of these and am awaiting shipment. Im new to hardware mixers, I have been a long time live streamer/broadcaster and wanted something production worthy but also to alleviate my CPU on my encoder setup. I can run an entire event off of this with its capabilities. Whoever did the walk through of this message me because I would like to subscribe to you and not a company.
