biggest problem with heroquest base game , the barbarian and the dwarf is boring. Why chosing the barbarian if you can use the knight ? Every class now have special ability. the 3 Dice at the start is very easy to catch up.

@LetsTableIt Question... in the Rulebook (not sure what page but it begins "Start Playing" and talks about turn order, in the page section right before it starts talking about the "six hero actions"). Does it say anything about the heroes getting to change the order in which they take their turns in the middle of a quest? I ask because that's a rule that was added in the Jungles of Delthrak expansion, but was curious if it was mentioned in First Light too. Thanks!

I've seen (but the text is blurred) that in the line of sight they talk about the furniture! I'm very curious to read what they write about it, and if the line of sight is blocked by them or not! Will you just tell us what is written?

All of the playable actions are intuitive and easy to understand. The strategy of building, maintaining, and defending your mycelial network is brutally competitive!

Did Avalon Hill say anything more about what parts of the review copy were "not final" (or "subject to change")? I mean besides the cover of the booklet/box and dice color...

No idea how this got in my feed, but I woulda been all over this about forty years ago when we only had Car Wars from SJG, then Battlecars from, I wanna say, Games Workshop. Even back then I preferred the video games, like Roadwar 2000 that came out a few years after. My rheumatic old hands would struggle with all those dinky little counters these days (TBF, those counters look chunky AF - I irrationally want to own this board game, though I would likely never even crack the plastic wrap). Can still manage a gamepad though! Been looking at "Death Roads: Tournament" recently but haven't dropped the hammer on it yet. Shockingly similar gameplay, except on a screen obviously. No multiplayer though!

So we need carbon in order to have healthy plants.
