Hi! I think it's really important to be detail oriented and organized. I have my own system to track all of my cases, and do a case review maybe once a week if possible. I hope this helps! :)

@@keresha1222 there is a lot of typing. Being able to type fast increases productivity and that definitely helps if you have a big caseload.

Hi! Thank you for watching! I don't have any paralegal certification, so I'm not a certified paralegal. I learned everything on the job not in school. A certificate is not necessary, but if you don't have any experience, it is definitely a plus! I started as a receptionist and worked my way up. I hope this answers all of your questions!

Just out of curiosity, did you find the work difficult at the beginning as you did bachelor's in fashion and you are entering the legal field directly, so how was it at the beginning? Thanks.

@@vedantpatel317 it wasn’t difficult for me. To be honest, this is a better job for me than fashion designer because of my personality. If you’re lucky and find a good boss who is willing to teach you, then it won’t be difficult for you. :)

@@user-yg5oh7kv4n I just had a baby back then, and I needed a stable schedule so I was looking for an office job. I found my previous job, so I just stared working there. I was there for four and half years and then I switched to my current job. I learned everything on the job. :)

@@OfficialEvermore Hi! I do work at night at home sometimes because I choose to, I don’t mind. When we were understaffed, I did get a bigger caseload, but as soon as we hired more people, my boss transferred my cases to the new case manager. So I don’t think it’s too much work if you have a system that works for you. :)

@@anusriiambikapathi9363 it depends on where you live. The way I figure out if I’m being paid fairly is check indeed.com. Take a look at the positions that don’t require any experience, you should be able to have an idea what you expect. After several years in the legal field and having a good boss, I’m doing pretty well financially. I hope it helps. :)

@@berserker1422 Hi! Congratulations! It depends on what law your firm practices. We do personal injury, so I have to call clients, doctor’s offices, insurance companies, when it goes into litigation, the courts, other law firms, deposition companies etc. But it all depends on the caseload, I am not always on the phone all day if that’s what you worry about.

@@raymondmartinez2602 I’m not gonna share specific numbers, but I get paid a little above average I think. It depends on your state, one way to find out what the average is go to indeed.com and search paralegal job in your area. I hope that helps. :)
