The Witcher 3 season geralt vs vilgefortz
Which episode?
3s 5e I guess
Darth Maul if he was good.
That would be crazy 😁
When u play a videogame with friends and u wanna take out the boss by yourself
Leeroy ? 😁
I’d like to see how Geralt would have done with a potion. Or I wonder how someone like Obi Wan would do? If we said a saber wouldn’t cut through the staff
Interesting, Obi Wan vs Vilgeforts 😁
So Geralt fighting a powerful foe. Does he even try to level the playing field by using a potion or two? Nah.
Do you think He would win with potions ?
I like how he is black/brown for no reason whatsoever. In books he is white, like Geralt
That guy was the go-to sneaky villain type for Netflix show. He was the big bad in Marco Polo too
I don't think It would be wrong. Mahesh Jadu plays role well. Which actor would you imagine in the role of Vilgefortz ?
No potion?
No
Don’t think this was how the fight went down canon wise…where is Regis got turning into glass part?
The fight with Regis happens almost at the end of the saga, this fight takes place way before Regis is introduced.
@@drizzt_tv1206 ooh, I see
okay. in the books he was white i think? so raceswap for some dumb reason. And Regis doesnt exist in the show?
Bro keeping teleport hia iron bar from hand to hand in a blink of an eye, how can u defeat that + he is using mage skills i mean 🤷
True
But didnt Vilgefortz get his ass handed to him by Cahir?
Netflix: he's ok, but I think replacing him with Thor's less popular brother is the way to go!
Henry Is only true witcher
Bro this was so bad
Why ?
@@Silent_B0y uninspired fight, cringe dialogue, vilgefortz is a menace in the books and here he just falls short, not to mention the whole scene looks like a tv movie
Z potężnego, tajemniczego, wymagalącego, bezlitosnego, oddanego imperium na 150% i przede wszystkim surowego władcy zrobili tępego chuja. Netflix.
I dont like this fight. In the books Vilgefortz absolutely sweeps Geralt, fucking destroys him. Here it seems much closer. It feels like Vilgefortz would've lost if it wasn't for magic.
They had to make it more exciting 😁
"i didnt like this fight it was too compelling"
@@caintrip9745it is a good fight scene. The choreography is creative, the stuntmen and actors did a great job and the editing is decent. But it's valid to criticize it as an adaptation. In the book Vilgefortz doesn't use any magic and absolutely destroys Geralt without even breaking a sweat. It's not a fight, it's a spanking.
Umm, wut? He was literally just talking to Geralt while fighting. And literally told him he was going to let him live as a lesson to the continent. That's pretty goddamned one sided.
@@Solving_Live_Poker You see arrogant villains get their ass handed to them all the time. The audience couldn't have known that just because he was talking big he'd actually win.
god what an ass show
Geralt is the better swordsman and has much higher skill than Vilgefortz. If you watch carefully Geralt disarms Vilgefortz two times in the beginning of the fight. But Vilgefortz uses magic and brings back the staff. Vilgefortz also says you like my staff when Geralt catches it the first time. Then he does it again right after that. I just love the detail put into this fight.
But Vilgefortz is the better fighter for most aspects. He can maximize his magics and his fighting skills to the fullest. But what you said is true, Geralt disarms Vilgefortz two times. If Vilgefortz doesn't have his swapping staff magic, he would be dead here for sure, or not, he can spam his aard and fire magic. I believe Vilgefortz have fire magic here
@bintangartomoro7772 I meant fighting without magic, Geralt would definitely win. But you're right, if Vilgefortz uses all of his magic shenanigans he will definitely win. I would like to see a fight when Geralt has taken the potions.
@@jackreacher9889 Ah yes, I see your point here. But still, it is magical when you see someone maxed their potential. Fighting skills + magic skills is so wild in this fight
Ive always wondered why Geralt didn't try to use the potion that boosts his strength in this fight.
He was in the middle of a coup?
The only thing they did right that entire season...
Wtf? Dude beat the Witcher down but couldn't beat the black knight???
He was playing weak against Cahir. Vilgefortz was working with Nilfgaard.
True
It's just a dumb show decision, Vilgefortz was supposed to be the hero of Battle of Sodden. Which gave him enourmous prestige and political power in the magician world. He was relatively young, and very powerful. They wanted to make Yen the hero. So they completely misused Vilgefortz. They even gave Yennefer the famous Fourteenth of the Hill title, which belongs to Triss Merigold in the books
What I Love about this scene is that Geralt stood his ground against his adversary. Even if Geralt lost , I Still Respect the fact that he put up a fight against vilgefortz, he didnt run , he didnt back down, he fought all the way!!! Real Savage Wolf !!!🐺🔥🔥🔥🔥 MAD RESPECT FOR THE WHITE WOLF 💪🏽💪🏽
The show ended for me with Cavill's departure
Despite people hating the witcher I think netflix should keep it up, maybe they make 1 scene that good.
I've always said that the staff is the best weapon one can use in a weapon to weapon combat. Say what you want, but I love the fact that the Geralt got the cockiness knocked out of him by a better warrior (not using a sword). 😏
Pointy sticks are better, pointy sticks with metal points and edges even more so.
Such good choreography
SHE ATE UNDERATED EDITTT
she has everything
no1
I wonder why they didn’t have Geralt take any potions for this fight. Maybe Geralt was being arrogant or maybe it’s just another mistake by the writers
that would be too simple don't you think?
He didn't really have time.
Wont do jack sht. Vilg can 1v3 geralt yeneffer and regis
@@cain7925nah 1v3 is crazy bro
@@Tajking24it took regis killing himself before geralt could finish him. Him vs geralt, yen and regis is not far fetched
❤
Harald is the best
His skills are awesome.

Didn't like the show, but to be honest I did really love this fight, great scene
JUST this fight ? From all series ?
@@Silent_B0y First one was not bad too.
Great scene!
Thank you
I didn't read any of the books, but I wondered why he didn't take an elixir before this fight and would it have made a difference.
maybe he didn't have them?
He spent the night with Yen when he woke up to the coup, it was sudden and then Dandelion brought him his and Ciri's swords after that Geralt when to protect Ciri who went to the tower where he met Vilgafortz and fought him.
@@sofianaji6726doesn't he carry them on his leg or in a pouch on his waste? Seems silly to leave something so important not attached to himself all the time outside when he's banging lol
It wont do jack sht 😂
he didn't have time. the attack happened too suddenly, it wouldn't. have made a difference anyway.
The best scene from Valhala
Thank you
Two best warriors and harald kills him so easily
it´s not so easy
Witcher vs Rajesh Koothrappali :)))
And Rajesh won 😁
Who
lmao
Mother of dragons
🔥
She is beautiful
I loved how they portrayed Vilgefortz in the show. Despite the show writers other failings, this was well done. I’ve read all the books at least 4 times. I didn’t have any complaints about this fight. Vilgefortz eventually became a twisted and disfigured madman. But here, he was as he was intended to be
Wasn't he a madman here yet?
@@Silent_B0y lol Thats fair. He did have a touch of the homicidal maniac disease. But comparatively speaking he hadn’t fully sent it yet. When reading the books I could feel the cheese sliding off his cracker more and more as time continued
@@Silent_B0y I believe he was already power mad, whole book up until then was geralt tracking down who sent the kidnappers after Ceri. He always had the same plans. Take Ceris's power. He did become way more unhinged and sadistic after he lost his eye. So yeah he definitely did became more mad but was always kinda mad.
Se ve generosa gentil y bella😊

What I like about Vilgefortz is that most of these type of villains: scheming, plotting, controlling things behind the scenes, are writen as push-overs dependend on their schemes and powerful allies to compensate their lack of strength. Vilgefortz is an all out menace: he has the strength to back up his arrogance and the brain to fabricate great ambitions. Truly a magnificent villain and the perfect opposite to the relatively "simple" Geralt who just wants to live, drink and fuck after killing monsters.
Yes, Vilgefortz is a dangerous opponent
They trashed this show but I will say this fight was incredible
Agree
I also agree but one thing I like about the books is Vilgefortz uses absolutely no magic in the fight-other than creating the staff. He just plain outfights Geralt.
