I haven’t seen all of classic who yet but I absolutely love the brigadier and get depressed when his not in an episode he’s such a well written character

That heartbreaking phone call the Doctor got regarding the Brigadier's death. The Lethbridge-Stewarts are very important and so very special to the Doctor because of the Brigadier.

Having David Tennant back as 14, who was sort of this evolved version of 10, was a lot more satisfying than I ever expected. Ten was a very bleeding heart type of Doctor, but he internalized everything and really didn't have much to give emotionally --- not to mention he was prone to being incredibly insensitive and inconsiderate. Fourteen was so much more emotionally available, and I loved that.

The Brigadier is hands down the best companion and my all time favorite. Godspeed, Sir. 🫡
