Hirota makes some of the best tracks of all JRPGs, he's that good. Shadow Hearts 1 and Chrono Cross share the 1st place for best ost in my books. This looks very promising btw.

I'm not a big fan of the whistling during the climactic moments, since I believe its soft timbre and homely feel aligns better when it's quieter and more sombre. Hearing whistling and trumpets side by side at the same volume sounds very unnatural, and is in very stark contrast to the first 20 seconds where it evokes more of an intimate feel.

Its insane how the composer is this good at recapturing the mood of shadow hearts. Covenant is Easily top 3 games of all time for me

If I have to recommend a playthrough first, I'd have to say Laeticia should be first since she has the most important plot points half way through the game but the other route only there's barely a difference other than the beginning. Also Laeticia's filler is far less annoying at a certain point.
