STUKA SQUADRON is an award-winning Heavy Metal act whose 'Tales of the Ost' (2011) album garnered considerable critical praise and excellent album sales.
The band was founded in 2008 by former members of Centurion's Ghost and Raising Cain (among others) and toured extensively around the release of their debut album. STUKA SQUADRON has been heavily featured in Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, and Terrorizer Magazine.
STUKA SQUADRON portray vampire warriors who have fought on innumerable battlefields. The name celebrates the band's most recent wartime incarnation, but - as the song relates, STUKA SQUADRON's bloody bootprints echo through the pages of history....
STUKA SQUADRON has been compared to the likes of IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST. The lyrics of STUKA SQUADRON reflect themes related to WAR, THE OCCULT, the tales of H P LOVECRAFT and the trials and tribulations of vampirism - particularly based on the band's own internal conflicts, feuds, squabbles and in-jokes.
