Cool stuff guys. You deserve more views. I'm 53 and a lifelong comic book nerd, so, early on I learned well enough to accept some deviations from the comic books ( Stark makes Ultron? hmm OK... ) but for the most part those deviations were tolerable. But far before Endgame I predicted the end of the golden age of comic book movies. I mean, you can't choose Thanos to be your main big bad guy this early on and really step it up from there. I saw Black Widow and really wanted to like it. It had its moments for sure, but then they utterly ruined Taskmaster. That was it for me. I reluctantly watched the 'Madness' movie as Strange has been one of my top 3 all time favourite comic book characters, but wow, they made a messy ridiculous mess of a movie. Chavez bugged me to no end, as it was just a silly character in the first place, but the character was nothing but a plot macguffin here. OK, fine. As teased in the Wanda Vision show, I was achingly hoping that she would become the villain she's supposed to be. And they seemed to be going that way, but they somehow messed that up too. The whole Illuminati sequence was wasted, and I'm sorry but there's no universe in which Wanda could outwit Professor X in a psionic battle. ugh

I also enjoy when the hero’s are just speaking in rooms. It gives us a look at what informs their actions

I remember being on Tumblr during the Superwholock phase and it was wild lol. But watching this episode reminded me just how loveable a lot of these characters are.

Been watching you guys for a couple of years now, and Dickey's presence will certainly be missed. He was funny, entertaining and overall seemed like a really great guy. Thanks for entertaining us, and definitely wish you and Sam good luck with your future endeavor's.

JP used to be my favorite movie until I truly rewatched Jaws. Jurassic park is a very flawed but fantastically entertaining movie, but Jaws is just a perfect movie all around. Perfect story, characters, suspense, horror, comedy, everything just comes together lol and the fact Spielberg directed it when he was 26. Hail to king Spielberg

Dickey's responce to pitching Eisenstein on a proverbial Rushmore over other filmmakers being "purely because of what came first" is baffling. I wanted to make a joke in this comment, but I could not get his matter-of-fact delivery of that sentence out of my head. Eisenstein is not only incredibly important for how he developed cinema with editing-the effects of which the art form is STILL indebted to-but also crafted some of the finest motion pictures ever created. They are not academic fodder for freshman film studies classes, they are seminal works that stand taller than most movies released today, and I resent the dismissal of his legacy.

If I had a nickel for every movie I've seen that was the third in the series, had Nordic characters, talked about how their home is not the physical place but the people, and starred Cate Blanchett, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

A few years ago I started looking for Thanksgiving-themed TV to watch every year, & this + an early "Simpsons" was all I could come up with. Then recently I saw a "Cheers" episode where Thanksgiving plays a major role. It's quite good. Also was happy to discover a recent "Simpsons" Treehouse of Horror centered around Thanksgiving instead of Halloween. As a nod to it airing after Halloween, if I remember correctly.

Also, I saw *Silence* in the theater. (Not many people there, if I remember correctly.) But torture on the big screen really adds to the horror.

Scorsese movies construct worlds that feel so real. You can't really approach most of them as spectacle. You LIVE in these movies for a time. So if you are interested in gangster culture, you REALLY like Goodfellas & Casino. If you like dark comedy, you REALLY like King of Comedy & After Hours. If you're like me & think a lot about ethics, philosophy, & religion, there's Taxi Driver & Last Temptation of Christ. (My two favorites.) If I had to pick a more recent favorite, it'd be Silence.

Honestly, I'm disappointed by the ending of this movie. It felt like there was no reward for thier journey. At least for one of them.

I saw this movie as a wee lad. While I'm not a particularly religious fellow I did still enjoy this movie. I gotta say, watching this without knowledge of the story of Mose it's a pretty dark movie.
