Hi. I'm used to have an 34" curved monitor, and maybe i'm too used to have this, so when i use this monitor, it feels like the screen bend out on the middle, and the sides bend away. Maybe it's just my eyes, but i'm considering going back to the curved one.

I am having ghosting on mine. On dark items, its like shadows around them when walking from side to side in pubg (115 fps). Maybe it is possible to change the settings, but out of the box its blurry inside buildings. I dont see anything outside in bright areas. The screen will be sent back.

Don't think the 8 series is 4 sided ambilight, other than that might be a few specs

@@Jacxor I think 8535 has QWERTY remote control and 9005 is a higher tier model with few small extras/features..... such as micro dimming pro, 4 sided led bars

@@hubbleenjoyer800 when its a /12 its most likely a frame color or a different stand or something with the disign of the remote.

I've talked with Philips since (in my opinion) theres not enough options. They reply it might come in anthoer update, but its not sure. I'm thinking of adding af Philips Hue Bridge, to see if it releaces some more options.

Pus9435 comes with a soundbar og but is a normal 9 series besides that. But only 3 sided ambilight. Pus8505 is the performance series, and is "The One" for a good priced mid range. Still the 9 series have a few better tweeks.

Not seeing any bleeding. There can be some ghost shadows due to resolution but nothing other than that.

Hey! What's your view on the TV so far? Worth a buy? Is the BL bleed a big concern for you?

I've managed to get rid of most of the backlight bleed by massaging the screen with a soft cloth on a dark screen. This has really helped to eliminate the issue. I highly recommend the tv.. Loving ambilight..

@@abs6764 Thanks for your reply! Nice to hear you managed to get rid of most of it. I'm thinking about buying the 70" model. It's around 1250 dollars in Sweden at the moment. Don't know if it's a great deal or not, and one option is to go for their cheapes OLED model instead (754), but I am kind of hooked by this TV at the moment and I imagine 70" would be such a different feeling than my current 42" Samsung TV from 2009 haha...

@@dalesbarn I got mine for around £700 with various discounted, it was selling for £850 at the time but has now gone up to £929 so I really got a bargain. Can't fault the picture. In fact a guy on another forum who bought the same tv said the PQ was better than his father's Samsung q90r TV. The price seems a bit expensive where you are compared to here. Maybe wait until black Friday?

I'm quite surprised about the Black levels having in mind that its no oled or highend qled. For a philips its way better than expected for my chosen settings. For the moving picture theres no doubt its all about settings. For my setup, im not really experiensing any ghosting, opera effect or lag in panning picture, but then again, it could be better, but at this price im still happy with the result. Theres not mush glossy effect on the screen, ofcause its notisible if you have Windows from viewing angle. Im not having any issues with it. Biggest issue is that the viewing angle fast takes away picture brightness and quality. Can't say if it comes to Germany, seems like its a nordic version so far.

Jacxor thank u. Is the angle really so small? Maybe it is different to FullHD TV. I have an 48 inch 8159 from Philips with VA Panel an it is brilliant. I think I must look the series one time in the stores. Only worry that maybe the 9005 comes not to Germany.

Its not bad, but theres (for me) a noticeable difference in colors and brightness that fades at about 45 degrees.

No problems with brightness. Sure theres a diff. from a nvidia-shield to this, but I'm rather surprised. (I still prefer my shield tho)

Mine is mounted at 8cm/3inch from the wall by using dobbelt spacers from universal wall mount. I'm quite pleased with the position, since you can adjust the brightness level on the ambilight to your liking. I wouldn't mount it closer to the wall, that would kill the ambilight and make the single led more visible, and not work correct as one light. Philips actually recommends the tv stand at 20cm//8inch. I'm about to make a vid of the ambilight modes for Music. Sadly i'm not pleased with the options there.

Yea, the soundbar makes a bit of a mirror effect, and in this vid, the brightness level was set to 10 (max level) I've redused it to 8 now, witch gives a more natural light.

Nej, det har jeg ikke bemærket, det lyder ikke som noget der skal forekomme. Er det bagpladen der virker løs? Jeg har kun sat ekstra spacere imellem for at øge afstanden til væggen, så ambilight kan sprede sig mere.
