I remember being a kid, stuffing macaroni into my mouth, waiting for mom to come home, watching cartoons and playing with little toys you only seemed to find interest in once. And I remember my mom driving me around late at night, and the first time I ever met my friend was when we played in the mud. I remember going to the park every time I visited my grandparents, and the mourning doves that sang every morning, and the pine cones I’d paint with really bad quality paint. And for some reason, Minecraft, above all things, hurt the most when we grew up.
