gemini season: knit the zakkuri cardigan, wanaka sweater with me
june!!!!!! june is always busy - bday, gemini season, pride, and end of semester work chaos all packed into 30 days. i flew through my zakkuri cardigan just in time for the nyc heatwave. next up on my needles is a ton of gift knits for all my leo friends, and quite a bit of incoherent machine knit tests. these videos have been a fun place to rant about misc. design thoughts.

make sure to stretch your fingers! i realized how important knitting is to me as a tool for self-regulation (?). even though i work in arts administration, my art is kept very separate and so not being able to turn off the work day, and having my sprain exacerbated FROM work felt so infuriating. it's hard to find solutions in a moment where all i wanted to do was be upset, but my takeaways are ...
