Beautiful Bang and Olufsen Audio System in a 450HP V10 Audi S8
Sold this car a few years back and still missing it. It has one of the best factory audio systems I've ever heard, but just happens to be the most luxurious cars I've ever owned, AND it's the most powerful car I've ever driven. I realize its not totally audio related, but the sound this can makes is glorious. Enjoy...

I'm selling my cherished 2009 Audi S8. It has one of the best factory audio systems I've heard, but just happens to be the most luxurious car I've ever owned AND it's the most powerful car I've ever enjoyed. Had to make it somewhat audio related, so sorry if you came here to listen to the audio system, but it makes a great sound even with the stereo off.

    hello, I wonder how to connect them... is there a difference in tri-amping and is it worth bothering?

    • @ericlang2629
      @ericlang2629 ปีที่แล้ว

      McIntosh designed the MC901 dual mono amplifier with a 300 watt tube side and a 600 watt solid state side. The idea is you'd run the tweeter/mid module with the tube section and the woofer cabinet with the solid state. This is how the owner had them hooked up. We ran them with a pair of Audio Research Ref 160M's and heard significant improvement in detail, realism and overall naturalness of the music. That tells us that tri or bi-amping just for the sake of having multiple amplifiers or tons of power isn't always necessary needed to get the most out of a loudspeaker. Just good clean amplification with enough headroom and these have the potential to sound fantastic.

      Generally, in the world of hi-end hi-fi, we don't bother with speakers since we know that their vibrations can interfere with the end result - a perfect hi-fi reproduction. However, since this is TH-cam - a predominantly visual medium - we include the table speakers by way of serving suggestion.

    The Sonetto's are the next evolution for the Venere. They are closer to the Olympica sound with greatly improved bass performance. They actually have better low end that the original Olympica series, and at less than half the price. If you liked the Venere, the Sonetto's will absolutely blow your mind. They just do everything better, while retaining Sonus Fabers neutral and natural lifelike sound.

    Hi, how do they differ in sound?

    • @salon1audio-florida529
      @salon1audio-florida529 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been listening to and demoing (and enjoying) the Venere's for 5 years now and when you put the Venere 2.5 next to the Sonetto 3, you immediately notice a tight, solid low end almost as if its a bigger speaker, when its actually smaller. Sonus tuned the cabinets to compete with some of the best bass producing slim towers out there. Sonus, being all about detail and accurate sound, you also immediately think your listening to a speaker 2-3X the price. Sound-stage, timing and resolution are improved significantly. They do cost more due to better drivers and components, but the improvement in sound quality far outweighs the bit of extra cost. Find them in a store near you and take a listen.

      @@zarintms If you want to take your Integrated to the next level try PASS Labs INT line. The integrates perform at very near the comparable X series amps. I have an INT-150 in on trade right now and I use it in a demo room and it drives anything with authority and precise control. It rivals the low end control of Krell with the clarity of much more expensive amps.

      Good Morning & How are you? My listening space is 19ft long x 13ft wide x 10-14ft high and opens up into another room that is 13ft x 13ft. Please advise if a pair of SF Sonetto II speakers, Gravis II subwoofer with McIntosh MA352 would be ideal or Sonetto V with MA352 would be better? Can I get the same sound with either combination of models mentioned or would a pair of Olympica Nova I speakers with McIntosh MA352 be better? Please advise. Thank you, Richard De Gannes
