Cool Stuff With Kyle
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 2 พ.ย. 2006
I am Kyle, and I am a collector of...well...everything. On this channel, I will feature some of the cool stuff I have in my collection. I will at times also feature reviews of cool stuff that I have recently purchased, and I will do field trips to places where various cool things can be seen. Some of the items featured here will include vintage and modern toys, fossils, mounted insects, clocks, music boxes, depression glass and uranium glass, and other various types of cool stuff!
Graeter's Ice Cream and Skyline Chili Collab - Skyline Spice Ice Cream - It's Real, and We Tried It!
Today on @CoolStuffWithKyle, we try the official collaboration ice cream from two Cincinnati Ohio area Staples, Graeter's Ice Cream, and Skyline Chili. I have loved both of these places for all my life, so of course I had to give this strange-seeming collaboration product a try. From what I had heard, it doesn't taste exactly like the chili, it's just got the flavor of the spice mix from Skyline in it, and it supposedly works really well with the Graeter's Ice Cream. It also has an added crunch from the oyster crackers that Skyline serves at the restaurants. My son and I both tried it together in this video. Watch the video to find out what we thought!

Today on @CoolStuffWithKyle, I am unboxing the 2 new figures I just got, of Emily and Victor from Tim Burton's movie Corpse Bride. I think these are very good likenesses of the characters, and they depict an iconic scene from the film, when Emily and Victor first meet in the woods.

She also is meant to work along with the Victor animatronic, but I don't have one of those yet. I think she's the cool one anyway, being that she is the actual Corpse Bride. Hello its Fishcon034 i lost my old channel but i made a new one but im dean.
@FishingGuy134 hello!
Hello, how tall is the scraps that is sitting?
The Gentle Giant Bust-Ups Scraps? He is about 2.5 inches tall.
@@CoolStuffWithKyle Thank you very much, you helped me a lot. I wanted to buy a uni but it is too big for my figures. Thanks
@ A question, do you know if a miniature version of Scraps that they released with Victor, Scraps is sitting up? Do you know if his hind legs can stand up?
@xochiltsoto4717 The McFarlane toys one that I have where Victor is holding the box, and Scraps is by his feet, Scraps is fixed to the base, he doesn't move. I do have an Emily and Victor with the bench and Scraps, made by SD toys, and I did a different video on that. That version of scraps is loose and standing normally, but he's not posable. I had only heard that the autumn leaf stuff glows. Someone mentioned accidentally finding out in a fb group. I went and checked all of mine and then went to parent's home and checked tgeirs as well. I sould have guessed because alot of things im drawn to wanting seem to have uranium. This pattern has so many names. Jewel. Superior. Halls autumn leaf. And mary dunbar. You should set up a community page. Or fb group for collecting. So i can have an excuse to talk and show off my obsolete and odd stuff 😄

You don't have Harrison or Carrie or Ewen.
@@nicklengyel356 I do actually have Carrie Fisher now, which I did a video of later. I don't have the other ones yet though.
@CoolStuffWithKyle ok
Your collection is fantastic and I love the variety of big and small actors with the card ones. There's a lot there I would like myself. All I have is Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Felicity Jones and Emilia Clarke (I've preordered Kyriana Kratter and have sent Jude Law a request in the post as well!)

@@danielfranceschini1 I do not have those particular figures, so I am not sure about how they fit in the car.
Is it just me or is the flux capacitor the wrong color. Its supposed to be a white led but it looks colored.
@@hiddeninthebrush well in the movie, I recall that the flux capacitor changes colors dramatically at the moments of time travel, so I would like to think that perhaps it is more trying to depict something like that, rather than the normal state. I might be remembering that from this one particular scene I found in this video, start at around 1:45 unless you want to watch the whole scene: th-cam.com/video/QyrV3UbSdDQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hE2MJ300pbb5ipQv

How were the prices ?
@@joannmaltinsky2756 like most antique malls I have been to, the prices vary widely by individual vendor. I have seen some pieces there that were very good prices, and other pieces that were definitely overpriced. I have personally bought a few pieces there though, there are good deals to be found for sure.
How would you compare this to the century wings model sir?
@@mukkuimamafbhm4193 I wish I could tell you, but I do not have a century wings model to compare it to.
@@CoolStuffWithKylebut can you tell me any nit picky downsides if I got this model?
@mukkuimamafbhm4193 I actually mentioned some of this in the video, such as the fact that the tail fins fall off if you turn it upside down, and the fact that the nose wheel is really too weak to support the weight of the model. I could also add that the pitot tube falls out so I glued mine in place, the cockpit doesn't open, and they did not cut slits around the inlets for more detail accuracy.
@@CoolStuffWithKyle thank you very much for that info, i will be getting a century wings, have a nice day!
Look a little closer those are records
Hmmm the whole batch turned out flat. Did you stir it after adding the baking soda? Did you move it after your poured it? It shouldn’t be that flat.
@@donnamalone324 Yes, I stirred the baking soda in then I also had to move it to another counter to pour it onto a pan. Part of it was trying to capture things for the video while also trying to be quick about it. But you're right, I could have done it better. I am not experienced with making this yet, lol. Thanks for the advice.
@ I find this candy to be quite finicky. I LOVE the stuff and it’s been a family fav for generations but I struggle too. I ruined more batches than I care to admit 😂 but when it does turn out it’s a beautiful and delicious candy 😋 just keep at it. ;)
I used to have this in Michigan...we called it seafoam too, we could actually buy it at the store up there.
Any differences between Emily 1 and 2? The paint?
I noticed some differences in the shape of the dress, and there are some differences in her hair. Her blue leg does not bend at the knee, so the legs are created with different poses on each version of the figure. One is in just a normal standing pose, and the other is made to be in a dancing pose. And of course, yes there are paint differences. So while the figures are similar in a lot of ways, there are also several differences.
4:32 Where can i get this?
That's the "Commemorative 2 pack for DVD Release". You can find them on eBay, but they are typically very expensive. I would watch auctions for them until you can find one at a better price, sometimes I watch for months before buying something at a price I can live with.
@ Okay, thank you
It appears that you saw a local freight operation. They are often short. I like to see the older locomotives that are usually on locals like this one.
Do you have any cadmium glass.
@@ephanye7414 I do have a little bit, but it doesn't glow well under the lights that I use in my cabinet, so I don't have very much. It glows better under the light from the flashlights that I have.

How much is a Hemingway 17 worth
I'm not an expert on values, but unless there's something particularly special about the one you have, it doesn't look like a Hemingray 17 is worth very much, judging by the ones selling on eBay currently for around the $5-$10 mark.
I give you credit where credit it due, that is a pretty cool collection. Would you mind if I showed you mine? I just would write the names in my reply. I love getting Star Wars autographs so I love chatting about stuff like this

I have same snake!!! She’s about 3 too. Is this as big as they get?
That's cool! My understanding is that she probably will get a little bigger than this, but way smaller than the Colombian boa I used to have years ago. That snake was about 10 ft long, a big boa for sure.

Great video! Love that antique mall!
have you any information on a brand called HOMA?
I'm not personally familiar with that one.
Funny thing is that they write HCR in a certificate, instead of HRC, that means Hardness Rockwell C Scale😅 However, from videos of owners of Onikiri, I see that it is good for its price. And there are much more expensive options that are worst in finish and practice.
