I just think when kids are involved people who are angry and hurt from a failed marriage put that adult hurt onto the children and it's not fair, I feel Angelina Jolie has done exactly this and it's sad. That's a really harsh claim to make. Especially when you yourself struggled with addiction too. He has no idea what happened to his son when he was in the Military. That is what I would look into. Why would he take his life while away in the Military???? Why didn't he help his son try to get help? Maybe she had addiction issues because she was trying to deal with his toxicity. I agree it all had a part in Hudson's issues , but mental health problems are so unpredictable. It's so hard you want answers and you feel helpless. You want someone to blame because it's not like Cancer or a murder where you can go after someone. There is never any closure. It just leaves a giant whole and lots of questions especially for the immediate family. I've been on both sides of this coin in a manner of speaking. I was a cutter and I was suicidal from the age of 15 to 45. I was in and out of psych wards and hospitals and ICU on ventilators twice at the end. I have 2 children when my Son my youngest he was 18 at the time was calling me every single day for a month while I was in the hospital something in me woke. I've always been A believer well I had finally just surrendered to Jesus! I realized I couldn't leave this burden on my Children. I didn't do it in my home I never wanted anyone to find me to have to live with that. I really gave myself to God and worked with the Dr's . MY reasons for my mental instability and for not wanting to exist were about my Parents! Too long of a story, but it was about them. Once they were out of my life no connection at all including my siblings who are just like my Mother I found peace. I remain till this day in therapy and psychiatry. I take my meds and use coping skills. I keep a small circle of people in my life no one that is toxic to my what I like to call ( sobriety) even though it's Mental health it's " MENTAL SOBRIETY!" Cutting is an addiction! The only thing that helped me with that was going to a rehab! I understood myself and what I was doing so much better. I am proud to say I have been stable now for over 10 years that is the longest in my entire life!!!! Drugs and alcohol were never my issue I was. I implore anyone out there if you are reading this you are worth it you are loved you are beautiful Don't EVER GIVE UP! THERE IS SOO MUCH HELP!!!! There is online services now they make it so you can get free help look online call 1800 crisis numbers go to a church go to a stranger!!!! Please just don't think you are alone!!!!! She's never been the same! He thought he had life insurance through the Navy they had money problems but it was much deeper than that. However, he didn't have life insurance!
