It's interesting how Cheese was a flop but for me it was the first time i discovered cravity (from an ad), git interested and started to listen to some their songs

I liked this I’ve never seen anything like it

I did NOT understand their sound identity (or lack of one) during the few albums. I hated all the titles and only really liked hot air balloon before becoming a fan. Although I still have quarrels with some songs I've come around to many, namely 'My Turn.' "Simultaneously their best and worst song" indeed, I used to laugh at the song but now I more so laugh with it. To me it seems like Crvt themselves perform it with a lack of seriousness in mind, which def helps watching performances. 'Gas Pedal' is another I somehow got around to. It has its problems but I enjoy the tight beat in many areas, the lyricism is a bit shit though. 'Break all the rules' has aged like fine wine, 'flame' hasn't and I still tend to avoid it. - You are so right about 'Adrenaline'. The shock I got as a Crvt-music anti at the time was indescribable. It's like someone from Crvt's team was like, "guys it's finally time," and they summoned angels to compose it. A banger. I like to think 2022 as their redemption arc, the biggest reason being 'New Wave' is to me a phenomenal and their second-most cohesive album (behind Evershine). It was a commitment to dance-pop and the execution of many of the b-sides is spotless, 'Automatic' my love! - Thank god 'Groovy' was released. I believe 'Masterpiece' has higher highs than 'New Wave' but lower lows. 'Fly' and 'A to Z' will always be classics. In terms of 'Sunseeker,' I wish it was delayed. The members had health problems through the promotions and the scheduling of the preparing the album along with touring just made things worse. The album is between definitely better than their 2020-21 material but imma be honest as much as I love 'vibration' and 'megaphone' we could've easily skipped this album and given Crvt some rest and I would've been totally fine. - No notes for 'Evershine.' You said it, best EP of this year. It's the only album in Crvt's discography where I'm inclined to listen to ALL the songs. 'Mr.' is gonna be number one on my Spotify this year. - Amazing video! Great retrospective and it was insightful. Love the format of the slideshow, can't wait to watch some of your other ones now.

I absolutely agree with about all of your points. I actually didn't like it all that much at first listen. But something about its odd structure worked for me, the start of the verses weren't necessarily the greatest thing ever it was the typical bg sound, however what follows it are really good vocals and really good sounds. And it kept doing that, up to a point i start to anticipate whenever that switch comes and then it starts to grown on you. The outro too isnt something i liked but its obviously a performance bit and not necessarily a part of the song. The bridge had me on a chokehold that part was immaculate to me. and just as you said its really enthralling.

i had similar thoughts! i like that farewell sounds fresh and new yet still has that distinct b.a.p sound we know, love, and have missed. something about farewell even reminds me of the final tracks on first sensibility like with you and baby. but farewell has for sure been on repeat for me, and i can't wait to experience the rest of the album!

I agree with u that taeyong excels in feature/off raps than a soloist he cannot carry a full album. I didnt like both of his titles a lot of his bsides i surprisingly enjoy. Its interesting that u thought APE was horrible while its one of my favourite songs of the album 😭 Mainly bc ut reminded me of his old song GTA1&2 for some reason i like his rappy hip hop songs than his slow/singy element songs like moon tour or runaway it's just boring and sounds like it would've been better done by a vocalist. Overall I agree with u he isn't cut out to be a solo artist, thats not a bad thing. Maybe he can put out mixtapes or singles instead of albums.

On my first listen of XO, I thought the vocal stuttering was fun and catchy. But by the end of that first listen, it had already become a bit grating by the final chorus. And now, after a few more, it just kinda ruins the chorus for me. It could've worked but just doesn't. I'd give the song a C letter grade. Fine and serviceable, but not stand out. At least the song was 3 minutes this time!

Also I’d like to add some additional facts: - The reason for the decline in sales is that Kakao now distributes their albums and for some reason, all of SM is having a problem. They are either not available internationally until months after release (like right now you can go to target and won’t find Armageddon on the shelves), pre-orders not being open until last minute or internationally too which just happened with Armageddon, and other problems which didn’t exist before Kakao became associated with SM. Also album sales in general are just lower for nearly every single kpop group now like txt, stray kids, newjeans, etc. - Yeah it’s true that Supernova did amazingly well on Spotify. At this moment, just by looking at the streams it’s the 5th biggest song by a 4th gen group, just behind Cupid, Super Shy, Ditto and OMG. - Just today, Supernova joined Ditto as the only songs in history to spend at least 40+ days at #1 on all major Korean daily charts (bugs, melon, genie and vibe) I’m probably missing some but this is just what I had in mind after watching this amazing video lol

There are alot of people who doesn't like some of their music I understand that but closer than this is a Fan song and it's on this album as well. Bts Army are definitely gunna support this album like we do every album as well weather is solo albums or group ones to. His last album Face was raw and dark plus about what he went through during covid and how whole life as an idol but this album tho seems from the new song it seems like a lighter more happier album that's my theory tho.

Well... as you say, music is subjective, and for We Still Love You it is very much. After I had a look at the lyrics, it changed it all for me and many Arohas. This song is making us cry because it takes us back to D1 where Astro members life changed, the day when a complete fandom´s hearth broke forever. It´s a song where Minhyuk is pouring his sincere feelings, there’s no need to say names, but we know who this song was written for.

Personally, I agree with you to an extent for sure. I like the songs on the album, but I do think that this album is more on the weaker side of their music. The songs are good, but I think it's just not AS GOOD as the other albums and the versatility we saw from Treasure, Fever, and World. Clearly, Edenary are experimenting more now that we are getting into a new era, from the more presence of Latin Pop (which honestly, I do love this) in their music as well as the changes in their usual vocal arrangement but of course, I do ask others to remember this: Every artist out there in the world of music has their good and bad moments with music and experimentation; so don't expect Ateez to be perfect everytime. They're doing the best and I can never explain how much respect i have for their admiration and efforts in their art. And really to the people in this comment section calling him a hater, criticism doesnt mean he's not supporting them as an Atiny. I usually avoid commenting anything, but you can't just attack a random guy you don't know on the internet because he has a different opinion from you. Critiquing someone and straight up putting someone down for something are two completely things, and if you watch this video entirely, he had both good and bad things to say, so for your sanity, please do not get defensive over someone else's opinion.
