Gospel of John Bible Study #10: John 7:1-52
As one of the four Gospels that tell us about the life and ministry of Jesus, the Gospel of John has a very clear purpose: “These words are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). With simple language, Jesus’ disciple John shares the deep, beautiful truth that Jesus is God himself who became a human being to save us from our sins. Studying the Gospel of John highlights the amazing grace of our Savior Jesus.
In this tenth lesson, we read about a trip Jesus made to Jerusalem for the Festival of Tabernacles. In this account, we learned about Jesus’ brothers and his relationship with them. We heard a number of statements from Jesus about who he is. Just like today, the people of Jesus’ day had many different false opinions of Jesus. We need Jesus and his Word to learn who Jesus really is. We hope you can watch our Bible study and grow in your faith in Jesus.

Hebrews Bible Study #5: Jesus’ New Covenant Is Greater than the Old Covenant
มุมมอง 327 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
The book of Hebrews in the New Testament powerfully testifies to how great Jesus is. The author by the Holy Spirit proves how Jesus is greater than many great things from the Old Testament, including angels, Moses, the high priest, sacrifices, and the tabernacle. One by one, we learn how Jesus fulfilled every promise of God and serves as our perfect Savior. Studying the book of Hebrews increase...
Matthew 8:23-27 - “Calm in the Storm” - February 2, 2025
มุมมอง 197 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Life is filled with storms. When the waves splash in your boat, I know you’re thinking, “How can I not be anxious? Don’t you see what’s happening? Why on earth wouldn’t I be afraid?” But Jesus responds: “Because I am here. I am here with you. Don’t you know who I am? Don’t you know how much I love you? Don’t you know what I have done for you? Don’t you know how much I care for you?” You can be ...

Matthew 8:5-13 - “Just Say the Word” - January 26, 2025
มุมมอง 29วันที่ผ่านมา
There was a man whose faith amazed Jesus. Do you know who it was? A Roman centurion. He said to Jesus, “I do not deserve to have you come under my roof, but just say the word and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:8). Faith recognizes its unworthiness. Jesus shouldn’t set foot in our houses. We don’t deserve it. This is why we start every service by confessing our sins. Yet, faith trusts in ...

Christ the King Lutheran Church - Tulsa, You're amazing! Let's be friends and have fun together!
We don't hate the sinner, we hate the sin. Conversely - We Love the sinner, we don't love the sin. John 3:11 is the verse that is always ignored.
Thanks for this thoughtful message.
Die spirit stay
Is that why my mom always had us end our prayers with "In Jesus Name" Amen. I guess I should make sure and continue that practice.
Yes, it's a great practice to end our prayers "in Jesus' name." It's through Jesus and all that he has done for us that we have access to God. God bless your day!
Jesus had a last name... "Christ"
Thanks for your comment! Actually, "Christ" wasn't Jesus' last name. "Christ" was Jesus' title or job description. The word "Christ" means "Messiah" or "Anointed One." When the Bible calls Jesus "Christ" or "the Christ", it's saying that Jesus is the Savior whom God promised to send. God bless you!
it was a joke....
Hi this jayson from Bangalore India. Voice is not clear 😞. Echo
Matthew 22:36-40 King James Version 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Thanks for a very informative lesson.🙌 Have a good day. 🙏Margie
I just listened to your sermon, true blindness. My bubble was blind and I loved and cared for her so very much. As you preached I thought of her. Soon it will be the Passover. No where can Messiah be found than in the Passover Sedar, if you know where to look. We greet one another in jewish tradition, may you have a happy and kosher Passover. NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM. I have added your name and family for those I pray for each day. I will also pray for those family's who came to your church for Easter for kids. As the hymn stated GLORY TO G D in the highest. G d bless you pastor and your family. Next year in Jerusalem. David Chicago
It is hard for me to believe that we, jew, are no longer a holy nation, we are not. Much harder to believe we are no longer the chosen people. The chosen are those who believe in Messiah jew or gentile. G d bless you, David.
Does Scripture interpret Scripture (article IX of the WCF)? No, it does not. Here is why: th-cam.com/video/Qu6TInBszqo/w-d-xo.html
