Take note that what scares the bear is not the bird itself but the bird's shadow. On the bird's second pass (at 2:33), from right to left, the shadow intersects the bear's shadow exactly.

Many people commenting they should be carrying bear spray. I agree, but it’s a very windy day which would cause complications for using spray. Have to be careful not to fire it into the wind and have the spray blow back on you and blind you.

This was intense! 3 seperate close encounters from 1 bear. Wow! It was like no matter which direction the bear chose, he was encountering humans. Makes you wonder if he ended up wondering if he was the one being hunted towards the end. Lol It's also a great vid that kind of gives us an inside glimpse of what it must have been like 100s or 1000s of years ago for humans living along the side of predators. It is also a reminder that there are some who still live amongst some of the largest and most deadliest predators right now as we speak all over the world. Thank you for sharing.
